Just to balance this out with another opinion .. I love Adam's voice, full stop, pretty much whatever he's singing. I love hearing him sing using the full range of his voice with Queen, but I personally prefer listening to Adam's solo music, especially his new, current music. As an artist, I really appreciate his evolving musical tastes, and love that he explores all the different qualities of his voice. Although I really enjoy his high and big notes, as when he sings Queen songs, I don't have to hear it in his solo music to fully appreciate his voice. His voice is pure magic! To add to the balance, I second pi 's opinion, and I too prefer Adam's solo music at this point. Adam's voice is unmatched and he can do anything with it, such as sing lead for Queen and hit all the glory notes, but I am quite saturated with those for now. I like how Adam has evolved, and even though I don't love every song and every music video, I do find the new sound quite refreshing. I am thinking of the first Idol tracks that got me hooked. It was Tracks Of My Tears, which followed Ring Of Fire. Those two songs were the beginning of a journey that I have been on for the past 10 years, and I think besides the many musical stunners mixed in with some bumps on the road it was always the man behind the music who has kept me going. His own music provides a little window into his soul and personal journey, and I can't wait for new surprises and revelations. My senses are telling me that we have been given the slower Songs and that we have some real jams coming Up. Get ready everyone!!!
