www.youtube.com/watch?v=U3Es9SswFugwww.youtube.com/watch?v=XEGCZd2DKcEETA: Unff. I don't know about you guys, but that last video is amazing! Just got a full blown skin orgasm from that transition from Chokehold to Sleepwalker. This medley really was everything. Are we really denying Adam this by not wanting his solo music (or some of you at least)? Queen will end you know and his solo career could very well end as well if he isn't at least mildly successful with this project. There wouldn't be another Believe if it did. You would never hear his voice again live. Of course that's apocalyptic thinking, but it is a possibility that if he isn't successful solo and Queen ends he won't have a career anymore. What should he do? Go sing in one of the many tribute bands of Queen. He will never do that. Continue to be only the guy who sang with Queen, but didn't achieve something on his own? I'm playing a bit of devils advocate here. Of course he is already successful and his solo career won't just end, but what if Velvet doesn't go anywhere? He wouldn't be able to tour like he wants. He said he is the most happy when performing his own music. His own creations. Queen is great and it saved him (like he saved Queen), but these are his babies we're talking about. Especially the songs that are coming up right now and were released this year. He worked on all of them. It's his creative vision. If you really love the man there is no option then to support that right? Even though they might not really be your cup of tea. I couldn't agree with you more! I loved Chokehold when it came out and was a little bummed that he only performed it in a medley for his TOH tour.. but when I heard the 3 songs together with those transitions, I really loved it. That's the section of the show I would always search out to watch on his TOH tour, so thanks for posting those vids skaschep! Inevitably the QAL tours will end, and it would be great if Adam had a really successful, thriving solo career when it happens for all the reasons skaschep mentioned.

I loved that medley on the TOH also; always looked for the videos. Loved the bit of choreography and how "creative" Adam could get on those songs.
Getting a bit excited for Velvet...excited to hear the rest of the songs.

It was my personal "Original High", and years later it hasn't changed for me. Thanks so much for posting, skaschep!! I will indulge now Thanks for being brave enough to "rattle" us all a bit. I will keep on doing what I have been doing as I want that solo tour more than anything.

I hope Adam has tons and tons of fans who will support him through thick and thin.. I know I will..To me,he is a godsend and has filled almost ten years for me with awe, delight and
happiness. He has turned my life into technicolor.Because of Adam I have traveled the world through his videos, become active in LGBTQ causes, learned a lot about music, and met fans from
all over.. I remember the first album and how my DH and I went from store to store making sure the CD was in stock and in a very visible place. If not the manager
of the store heard from us..I had so many CDs that I gave then to all my friends and relatives and still have many left. Adam made me know what being a loyal fan is ,I have
never in my life been a follower of any singer/entertainer. But then Again I have never heard a voice like Adams. I love all of his albums. His music makes me FEEL SOMETHING

So happy they are out touring The French Quarter today. I assume the sweetest friend was Javi...lol Oops. I am surprised that he is not wearing something that would allow him to ... "blend in" a bit more. Or is he? Those shorts may be in style but they are quite "revealing" aren't they? I think this is the first time that I see him wear Birkenstocks haha.

Especially the songs that are coming up right now and were released this year. He worked on all of them. It's his creative vision. If you really love the man there is no option then to support that right? Even though they might not really be your cup of tea. If I might play devil's advocate back here.. - Fans are not the Borg, we are not going to have the same taste in music, whether it be Adam's or anyone else's.
- Adam's fanbase is too small to create a hit for him. We can buy music and support, but only move the needle so much. Reminder he is on an indie label with no mainstream radio track record.
- Has he not said himself it's not about the numbers this era? If he's not stressing, I don't think fans should. He bought a 6 million dollar house and gutted it, this isn't a person worried about not working the rest of his life.
- "Believe" is not his song and him having another opportunity to do a tribute or sing live does not rely on Velvet as long as he can still sing. That's up to his management to book. He's a name celebrity now, he can get talk shows unlike most indies. Speaking of, we don't even know who is managing him right now.
- I will buy Adam's new music, but I can't force myself to like music if I don't. Hell, I bought that horrific Two Fux for support. I know these are his babies, but sorry I just don't think the new songs are engaging. And I bought them all. I hope beyond hope I like Superpower and will want to listen to it more than handful of times. I'd like to go to a concert of songs I want to hear live.
- Adam needs to be his own editor or have a team to help edit himself if he can't (or won't lol). He's a creative person but that doesn't always translate into any business sense. Frankly I don't think the era started off well with the hair extensions and the AI performance look. (As an aside, who cares by now how many views that video is getting?). But his babies, his decisions.
- He can tour if he wants to tour. Indie artists tour albums all the time with not many sales. It just might not be the type of touring he is accustomed to. But he's got enough money to be picky on solo performances if he so chooses.
- He's 37 years old and been in the business for over 10 yrs. By most accounts, that is already achieving longevity in the world of recording artists if it all ended tomorrow. Which is won't, he'll be fine.
