I am very behind on everything here but am enjoying (and how I enjoyed that full side view of Adam on the Harley) the pics and videos. Just a couple of thoughts in no particular order.
In today’s world, some engagement of fans is, like it or not, crucial for someone like Adam. Someone said that Brian’s age would allow him to say things that were perceived as wise, whereas if Adam said the same thing at his age, it could be perceived as pretentious. And depending on what Brian is posting about, I totally agree. But he doesn’t always post on philosophical, etc..., matters. Sometimes, he posts from his bike, and I remember him asking what people did to get motivated when they didn’t feel like exercising. He got many replies as always. This is just one example. I also think that sometimes, if Brian mentions feeling “blue”, the outpouring of encouragement seems to help him. He struggles, as do so many. Somebody pointed out that Brian didn’t need to work, so that gives him more time. Brian May is one of the busiest human beings I have ever seen. So for Adam, he has said that he watches a lot of television, etc... Why not say what his favorite series or show is lately and why—2 sentences max could do this—and then ask people what their current favorite is and why. Obviously, he wouldnt have time to comment/like all, but maybe just a couple of things. Obviously, his social presence will ramp up near release times, but if that is about all the engagement is, then people will naturally think that he is almost only contacting them when he wants something from them. Of course, most people understand they are part of a marketplace, but if they have some kind of prior feeling of connectivity, that can only strengthen things for Adam. I don’t have any other Instagram chats to compare his to and didn’t even know that viewers could see questions that he received, but I guess that is only when you are there at the moment it is happening? I did enjoy Javi’s story with the mouse, but I remember the days when, as he was leaving, Adam would post something like “Thanks Vancouver!” Yes, I know he thanks people within the show, but thanking “the city” is a nice touch that he used to do. He did for LA this time, and perhaps some other places sporadically IDK....two or three words with the city name in it seems a custom worth reviving.
Again, in no particular order, I followed Adam through AI and remember the judges’ complete, unabashed love (okay...Simon had an “inner” moment, I believe). I think it might have been after Adam performed “Whole Lotta Love”. Randy and Kara (What was her name?) called for Adam to make a rock album, saying that nobody was doing it now, and one of the judges saying he and Slash should make a record now. If my technology skills and my vision was better, I would bring that part over because I have recalled it many times throughout the years. But that genre was not where he chose to go except with Queen. However, As a child of the late 70s, I really like NE, so I’m looking forward to the rest of the release.
I have enjoyed some of Adam’s solo songs and enjoyed the one time I was able to see him solo. I will support those efforts as I have in the past. However, as some have said, I will always prefer his singing Queen songs, as I doubt there will ever be any music of a caliber that will suit and showcase his voice like their catalog. He seems to have fun, too, and it is almost like QAL has grown into a different type of experience, 2 1/2 hours of incandescent joy, a happy bubble....medicine to our troubled world. I wouldn’t blame Adam in the least if he put the majority of his time and efforts there. As we all know, it cannot go on for as long as the world might wish. I’m not wishing anything negative for his solo career...just my personal musings. I only wish him well, and he is an international star.

There has been some discussion in the past few days about whether or not Adam Lambert solo music showcases his glorious vocal skills enough, or not. While, admittedly, I don't like ALL the songs he has put out, I definitely love most of them. Some for reasons different than just his vocal ability.
But here, I thought I would post some of my favourite VOCAL showcases of Adam's. I definitely think he has tracks of his own that showcase his singing ability, technique, and everything else that's wonderful about his voice. (I know there are perhaps other songs he has covered from other artists, including Queen, which showcase his voice, and there are other songs of his own as well that I like very much).
So, if you listen to my little playlist*, I hope you enjoy Adam's voice in them as much as I do. I often listen to these songs. *(I'm posting the lyric videos on purpose, because most of these songs don't have official music videos, and also because this isn't about the videos, just the voice.)

I just watched this with the sound off and thought how much energy and how many calories he must burn off every show. It's one thing to just stand there and belt out a song, but his body is going non-stop and he's never winded or never misses a note. Pretty amazing IMO twitter.com/glitterglam_nik/status/1163594890023972864

I noticed the non stop movement this tour even more so that the previous ones.
