It's getting played with every DJ which is great. Capital isn't BBC1 or 2 which we've hoped to get Adam on in years past but it is growing it's market share overall while BBC is dropping and beats out BBC in London itself. I didn't know that BBC is state sponsored or what we would call public radio in the states and the others like Capital are commercial and have to compete without any underlying funding. More good news on the Capital front. The most recent Sunday show to be on air was the Big Top 40 - which they bill as the UK's biggest chart show. SuperPower is a new entry at #31. www.bigtop40.com/charts/2019/36/We've heard Adam is supposed to be there in person next week? or maybe it's already this week.

Sounds like a fan club with a monthly fee... Very clever... It does, doesn't it. But the concept of getting more personal and even individual content from Adam would be the draw. Fans now have embraced the community part of the paradigm with some success and I can't really see Adam starting something like this. He is not incredibly active on social media and while he does appreciate his fans (enough for me at least), he does not appear to want that level of personal engagement. I am not sure I would either ... It sounds like much more than just a fan club with a fee....there is far more privacy...none of this sense that what you say is open to anybody googling a phrase and adam....etc....sounds interesting, possibly. Not for everyone, of course....but in some sort of way, isn't that the point....curious...

Oh, I just saw that NDR2, one of our big radio-stations here in Northern Germany, also already played "Superpower" once on Friday night! ![](http://i770.photobucket.com/albums/xx348/Quu3/Adam%20Smilys/Other%20Smileys/party-smiley-017.gif)

I am not sure I would either ... I know I wouldn't...let Adam have is off time. And yay for SP going to radio !!!!!LOL! And I don't think all (tho some do) of these fans want to hear more about his career. He tells us pretty much all he can when he can about his music, QAL and career in interviews and on social media. The last thing Adam needs is more whining and prying from some fans about how often and how long he is separated from Javi. HA. They are two grown men (in love) who can manage their lives and will work around his very active career and promotion requirements. And yes, yay to radio. I was happy to hear Adam say in the Build interview that he wanted to move away from typical pop and take a more alternative direction. He is charting his own path but a little help from radio will be very much appreciated. Tho we continue to play his videos and stream away. I also have the Playmobil song on my playlists. I know someone said it wasn't important but don't want to leave anything to chance in case it is important to Adam. But SP is getting the heavy treatment from me.

Good Sunday morning everyone! As Superpower is playing in a loop on Spotify (on computer mute), I have been reading the morning news and linked my way to an interesting article. For some background, I like to intersperce the overwhelmingly depressing political news with fun pop culture information. Today I decided that I needed to know what the "Jeremy Renner App", which was apparently destroyed by trolls, brou-ha-ha was all about. I had been seeing it in headlines the last few days so clicked on the NYTimes story. If you want to read the story, I have linked it here JeremyBUT that is really not what I wanted to share with you. The real story for me was not about Jeremy Renner but about the way superfans of various artists and influencers interact with their fans. The above article linked to a more in-depth look at fan interactions on the internet; past, present, and future. It was a real eye-opener for me and I am not sure exactly what I think about it yet. Influencers are flocking to a surprising new kind of social mediaby Katharine Schwab04.08.19 Article LInkThere are surprising similarities to what we have here, but also other paths that hint about ways that could change if Adam were to engage fans differently. As I said, I am not sure how I feel and I don't want to speculate too long about something that may never happen, however, I don't mind entertaining the possibility and exploring my theoretical responses. Give it a read if you are inclined. Forewarned is forearmed, as they say. Thanks for the redirect ... found it to be an interesting article. I was left with conflicting thoughts and more appreciation for what I find here!
