They announced it just after midnight UK time. Just after 1 AM Europe time. With tickets on sale 9 hours later. Silly, but apparently needed to beat the scalpers. Or at least that seems to be the strategy. Seems they may beat the sleepers as well as the scalpers...and why aren’t you asleep either? I knew the announcement was coming. A little birdy told me. We have been planning all evening already. I was just about to go to bed when the announcement came. But now I'm going for real.

I'm curious to see what kind of VIP packages they'll have, if any, for the Euro tour. If my Australia trip doesn't work out I'm thinking Amsterdam and/or Paris.

oMFG! FIVE shows in London! Wow! If I could travel this would be a no brainer! And add two in Amsterdam! They should have done the Wembley Stadium in London. 5 shows in the same venue is silly. I'm happy for the two in Amsterdam though! I'm just speculating here but if they can sell out 5 London O2 shows that would be ~100,000 tickets and if they sold out Wembley Stadium that would be ~90,000 tickets. Maybe they want to leave Wembley as Freddie's legacy. The show itself translates much better to an arena stage. Just speculating.

Agreed, that's why I said tickets. I think multiple shows for fans are wonderful, you can get the experience from all over the arena. Everyone knows their music, they don't really benefit from 90,000 unique viewers but their fans benefit from a fabulous show seen many times and the only other place they are going right now in the UK is Manchester.

I think they will fill more than the five 02 shows and one night in a Manchester. They did three last time in London and 12 in the UK in total...all large arenas. Late 2017. And increased interest since then.

Have the UK tour dates just been announced...in the last half hour or so? Because it’s nearly 1a.m. here and if I hadn’t popped in now I wouldn’t have known that tickets are on sale in eight hours. Why is it always such a rush? Anyway.- good thing is that most of the UK will be asleep and may not know about the concerts until they get home from work tomorrow. Perhaps that’s just my evil wishful thinking..... .....and WOW!! Five nights at the 02....and bet there’ll be more. There's a big gap between Manchester and Berlin

the Queen Fan Club email with passwords landed in my inbox about an hour ago Are the passwords good now? If regular sale is in 8 or 9 hours, there is no time for a presale!
