OK, I picked an image not from the CTY Live Session! I really worked hard to look at anything else.
Be a betterer fan than me
by Q3
I admit it. I am an addict. All I can do is play and listen to this track...

I know I should be focused on SP and I am streaming it. But what I am listening to -- CTY!
So be betterer than me. Be stronger than me.
But, please, please, please, do not make me stop listening to this amazing vocal performances.
Something cool from my campus
by Q3
I teach on a major university campus. Anyone who knows people who are 20ish probably knows that wearing fake vintage t's with classic bands is a trend. I see them all -- Rolling Stones, Ramones (impressive), Pink Floyd Dark Side of the Moon, P!nk, Madona (yes, the 80's are retro cool), AC/DC (Me: "Are you a fan?" Student "Huh?!?" Me: Are you a fan of their music?" Student, "Music? Were they a band? I didn't know that was a band?"), Led Zeppelin, ......
But in the sea of fake retro t's, I have seen three different you women wearing Queen 2019 tour t's in the past couple of week. And they are fans -- mega fans. Proudly wearing their QAL tour t's to class. And only vaguely knowing anything about the mythical Freddie. To them, Queen = QAL. Not an abstract vintage band lke the Rolling Stones, but a real, current band with a great frontman they vague recall form when they were 10ish on American Idol.
Perhaps this is just a thing fashion-forward students in the western US are doing, but I doubt it. Our students come from all over the US and are a very typical slice of the American middle.
Why are they fans? Because of BoRhap movie -- which inspired them to go to a QAL concert.
So, here is the odd thing to me. My (admittedly micro small) sample of three students who are QAL fans are all women. When Queen was at their peak in the US, the vast majority of their fans in the US were men, not women. I attribute this shift entirely to Adam who is a heartthrob to these three young women.

Q3 note: This is a great venue -- highly recommended -- the acoustics are wonderful. I was lucky to hear Adam here is 2015 -- I sat in the center of the orchestra 14 rows back. One I the most beautiful and acoustically pure venues I have been in. More info about venue: www.mechanicshall.org/about/ For Adam concert collectors, it is similar to the experience at the Tennessee Theater in Knoxville, TN.
