Celebrity story:
Phil and Don Everly were always very nice in meeting their fans. When they had a residency at the Orleans in Vegas in the 90's, I had occasions to meet and say hello to them. They would always stop and sign "stuff" for their fans, even little scraps of paper.
When they retired in 2001, a small group of Everly fans and I decided to take a trip to Central City, Kentucky (birthplace) to see all of the historic Everly sights. We then decided to drive by Don's home in Nashville and Phil's home in Columbia, Tennessee, just to say we were there. Of course, the moment we drove up to Phil's house, he pulled up in his Range Rover, and was nice to talk with our little group and take pictures with us. Phil passed away some years ago and I will always remember the kindness he showed our group.

I must say that I am thrilled that Adam is still in demand for big events. Going indie often changes that status for many. But he remains very much a big draw in his own name. And being known also as the Queen frontman cannot hurt, lol. QAL and solo are all parts of his wonderful career. It has all paid off well for him.
Got in my 30 votes for Queen AMA's today.

Also loving all the meeting celebrities stories. I used to work a popular summer concert series for about a decade and how some of those musicians treated the help really says something about a person. My favorite story unrelated to that was last year when I was first fan at the venue for the Mike Shinoda (from Linkin Park) solo show in Denver. I made an IG story about how I was the only one in line and that someone should come keep me company, and no lie about 20 minutes later Mike happened to see the story and came outside to say hi. To go out of the way and do something like that was the sweetest thing ever. I have never met Mike, but from everything I have seen and heard, he seems like just the sweetest guy
