Kinda OT....but Brian is coming to Nashville on Tues to do a show with James Burton, 80 yr old R&R hall of famer guitar player. They'll be doing golden oldies. Brian seems excited. www.instagram.com/p/B4rw2JYl00L/

These 4 shows to me were " a given " to have a full band and back-up singers. I would be keen to know how long the performances are going to be, which would indicate inclusion of how many more songs other than Velvet songs. It gets one thinking, does Adam have a different bassist lined up for the upcoming TV performance? The Talk, Nov 12 is firm and in print. I would hope for a tv appearance it would be/should be a full band for the best "punch" --like for the Kelly and Ryan Show. James Corden Show still has no listing for an Adam appearance, and musical guests are listed through next week. There could be a taping to insert at some later date. (maybe someone got some wrong info???) City Light up Nov 22 -- this could be acoustic, like Cities Gives Back BUT when listed as a headliner to close out the evening ----was hopeful the whole band concept would be there. Expensive I know. Of course Almost Acoustic Dec 12 seems a given it is acoustic. It keeps expenses down as well.

Adam used a full band when he did that Almost Acoustic show before. For him it probably depends on the need and not so much the cost. He has used a full band for most of his appearances this era but maybe he did not think it was needed for the 3 song show for Cities Give Back. Voted for Queen for the AMA's!

Thanks for letting me know that he did use a full band before for the Almost Acoustic, As he is a headliner...it would put a real vibe to the performance to have a full band/back-up singers. I double checked and the reason Adam is not listed for future performances with the bassist on the 12th of NOV and DEC is that she probably had bookings with the 2 other groups listed, already in place. So, t here is still hope that another bassist is available and in place, giving me my wish for full band performances.

He probably did just do the minimal for Cities possibly because it's expensive to cancel if he had to pull out again. Probably why he started the show instead of ending it too. For the Velvet songs I think he'd be better to make sure he has backup singers than a full band. They are very Queen like in that parts sound better with harmonies.

And a bassist is an absolute must because there are some very funky bass-driven grooves in these songs!!!
He started with a different bass-player, so maybe she will come back. I liked her groove even though I cannot remember her name.
