Good for Adam to go out and enjoy himself!! I am happy that he has brought my favorite hairstyle back but I really can't stand it when he drowns his gorgeous eyes in heavy make-up and excessive eyeliner, both on stage and in private, and I see quite a "comeback" lately. I didn't like it 10 years ago and I don't like it now. Sure, he can do whatever he wants, but I do have a reaction when I see pics. Thankfully, I am still enthralled with his most beautiful gift, his voice. For me, his vocal delivery has gotten even better. I agree. He is way too handsome and eyes too gorgeous to hide. I think his eyes were a little overdone on The Talk but not bad. I just hope he does not go back to the heavy facial and eye makeup. A little eyeliner looks great on him. But he is an established and serious artist and I don't want to see him hide behind a mask again (his words not mine). When he is out on the town, I always tend to scroll past those pictures anyway as one view of the party scene and the looks ares normally enough for me, lol. For someone like me, who doesn't use make-up herself except for tinted moisturizer and a little mascara here and there, I just can't stomach the overdone stuff and the excessive glitter, even though I do understand the concept of stage make-up for specific events. I agree, a little touch up to accentuate works well for Adam, but sometimes it's just too much for me. I too noticed his eye make-up on The Talk but didn't want to say anything. He looked fab otherwise. I still adore him, and his new music for me is his best one yet! "Velvet" should really establish him further as a recording artist and I would like for him to let the music speak most of all.

Personally I love makeup and wear a good bit of it myself. Adam has always loved it too. Sometimes he wear's a lot, sometimes a little and sometimes none at all. I think it's a matter of the performance and what he's trying to portray. I loved the GNT because he was so flamboyant and out there with his style. He's never going to be a plain Jane especially on stage. Anyone see Sam Smith lately or Adam's friend Marcus? We should be thankful!!!! By the way, the ladies loved his look on The Talk. I think they were really impressed, as Sharon said, he never disappoints.

The show also featured some major shock value at the time, from Lady Gaga‘s fiery rendition of “Bad Romance” into “Speechless” to Adam Lambert‘s same-sex kiss with “For Your Entertainment.”
