So we have an London interview to see soon. GOOD! We have a bit of input about a solo tour from Shosh. We have SIDE B coming SOON!
And Q3. I really liked your comment on yesterday's thread. You said that real success comes over a period of time not just a burst here and there. That settles me down a bit. Adam has gained great respect from many people in the industry over the past ten years. His music has done reasonably well. Many of us want that HUGE BOOST that puts him at the TOP with all those current A-list chart-toppers. But really, he's is doing very well. So many factors come into play. We can stream our hearts out and hope for the best. But I think he will have longevity in more than one way. He name will be one that is remembered. I think he'll have a legacy that will stick whether or not he has a string of Billboard hits.

I agree that Adam has had a wonderful year. I think this year will be great a well. But I'm not sure why fans wanting Adam to get more radio play has anything to do with wanting him to have a #1 hit. They are not the same thing. I haven't seen anyone even thinking about a #1 or even a top 10. We can dismiss the importance of radio play but it does give those artists more exposure, sales and recognition. There is no way to dismiss the importance that it plays along with streaming. We were all very happy to see SP getting some play. And if we are honest, we will be happy to see him get some with any new releases. There is nothing wrong with that but most are realistic and know Empire will not get him to the top of any radio charts. I would love to see him get on some of the smaller charts and don't care as much about CHR. Thankfully Adam is not even chasing the pop landscape anymore. I think the material he has put out is so much better. But it is just a wish for more exposure that I will continue to hope. Because it would help with the streaming and concert tours as well. The more who hear him the better. We can wish away for bigger numbers in streaming but something has to kick in to make that happen. I think we can appreciate what Adam has achieved in status and recognition for his enormous talent and I do. We all do. However, every now and then we voice our hopes. NOT stressed just hoping for more of it for him. I think all fans do that don't they? Remember when Beyonce won 3 Grammy's a few years ago but her fans went nuts because she did not take the 2 bigger ones from Adele? I remember thinking, 3 Grammy's and they are complaining. I would be happy with a nomination for my favorite and a win would send me over the moon, lol.
What a handsome man in that brown coat!!! So nice to see a picture of him in London.

MY feeling is that Adam will get many awards in the future.. He is more than an artist ,he is a voice for change.. a legacy takes time, our guy has it all, longevity, talent and heart . His fame is building brick by brick....Not to worry Adam has this.

Wonderful that PCHFC did so well! Adam can put emotion and feeling in ballads like few others. I just loved his very sexy version.

I also liked how Q3 put it in yesterdays thread. It's better step by step. It's easier to process psychologically and it's simply more solid. It will last longer than a flash in the pan. My heart goes out everyone in Australia. It's been 5 Mio. Ha. Burned, 2/3 of what the countries usual emissions have been emitted in these fires. On new years people fled to the ocean so they could go into the water if the fires came close. Glaciers in new Zeeland have darked from the ash transported by winds cousing them to melt faster. It's simply terrifying.

I don’t think that Adam is in London, there’s no point of that. No Queen rehearsals since Tyler came back to US. I bet he’s in Madrid catching up with Javi. When it comes to Adam being not popular enough here are my reasons why: his fandom is too old, young people’s choices always dictate what is trendy and what is not, gay community doesn’t support him the way they should, his management, label and pr sucks, Adam doesn’t care that much since he has money from touring with Queen. All that articles about Queen or his solo concerts are paid advertising. LOL From the experts I gather!

All that articles about Queen or his solo concerts are paid advertising. There's no reason to suspect Adam is lying about being in London, if he were in Madrid he'd just stay off grid if he didn't want anyone to know. His management and PR have had him everywhere this year, he's been on tons of radio interviews, TV shows, the xmas song done with Spotify etc, they seem to be doing a great job so far. As to the label they've not done great with sending stuff out etc but as far as his music goes they can't do much, Adam's in the driving seat of how and when to put his music out, he's indie now and small labels don't have much sway into radio and streaming lists etc but he's had great response with a bump in sales every time he's appeared on a tv show. Don't know how you can say Adam doesn't care, he clearly cares enough to spend tons of last year travelling all over Europe, Australia, UK etc promoting his music. If the articles are paid advertising then so are every other artists out there but I'd argue Queen don't need to pay for advertising and especially after the movie, there's been a huge surge in interest and they weren't lacking in that department to start with.
