My prediction (we won't go into my accuracy level please) is that ROSES is the CIH of Side B and that the single released mid-March is a banger and will be heavily promoted. The song Velvet maybe?! ETA: Oh wait, CIH is on Side B. Yeah, but we didn't know that until Side A came out, so order of songs probably still applies, maybe... Lol, who knows. My song predictions are getting lost in logistics, must be sleep time :D What is CIH?

Roses is a pleasant enough little song - with the kind of ‘voice’ that would not be easily identifiable or impactful to the casual listener and some clunky lyrics again. Sort of a stocking filler while the big present is still waiting under the tree. (I hope.. ) Great news about a London solo arena date! Wow....amazed and thrilled for him. I wonder if that means a one-off in the UK.

Roses again fits the cohesive vibe of the album. And I really like it. But everything he releases production wise is high quality. Not the strongest track. My favs are still stranger you are and closer to you. But I’m betting the Side B, released in March. Well he the strongest.

Bought the song. Listened a couple of times. To me the sound is pleasant but not memorable in any way, I can take only so much of that whispering light falsetto. It IS cohesive with sida A for sure but I want to hear the VOICE.... I guess QAL will be filling that space for me... will be doing my part on Spotify and YT for Roses in any case. Agreed, don't care for the song, it will be one that I skip. I can barely understand the words in the beginning when he is using his falsetto. Not sure why Adam feels the need to use the F word so often, in my opinion, it's not necessary and adds nothing to the song. In fact it seems a little juvenile.

#ROSES is such a cool and sexy dance tune. I totally love the viiiibe and I can see it do really well in clubs. Chair dancing now

I like Roses, too, although it isn’t one of my favorites; I understand how some people dislike the use of the word, but I think the use of “fucking” gives the impactful delivery called for here. Earlier, someone said they liked Closer to You and Stranger You are the best, I believe, and those are my favorites, too. In fact, Overglow is the only one I skip, but I do listen to it periodically to see if it will grow on me a bit more. But what a terrific album we will have.
I might be in the minority, but if doing The Super Bowl in any way affects QAL, I pick QAL. I would love for any country to hear for the first or however many times or bigger places like the U.S. and Canada to possibly get some different, perhaps even some secondary markets. I will continue to call their concerts a “”joy bubble”, whether I see them in person or online. This tour in particular, they just seem so playful and happy and doing lots together.
Now, I’m not saying this because I don’t think they wouldn’t be the ultimate Super Bowl act, it’s just, as we all know, Brian and Roger’s ages are an ever-present factor. Of course, Mick Jagger was going strong last I knew and fairly recently, I believe, doing ballet or aerial acrobatics, or some such thing. Or for all I know, he had some major health event that I don’t dare google as I cannot find my charger.

Mick Jagger had a valve replacement. Has been back at it for a while. Doctors cleared him to tour 2-3 months out of the year. I think he's 76!💜🤩💖

I think of this as his sexy “inside voice” - as opposed to his out of this world “outside voice” 🥰 I like this thinking!!!
