I wonder how many seats are designated as "Official Platinum". I also wonder if unsold Official Platinum seats revert back to rack rate prices if they don't sell during the presale. From my observation of the US leg it seems truly dynamic! I.e. the sale starts and depending on the demand they will designate additional seats to Platinum or change those back to regular. also the “platinum” price is not “fixed”. The same seat can fluctuate in it’s platinum price. And it can be done to any seats, not just “the best”.- They sure start with “the best” but if demand is high the nosebleeds can become “platinum” as well.

Lol... judging from the picture Adam was at the gig too! Which one wouldn’t know from reading the text (aside from the @fullband) :D

US dates for Velvet? Stress and anxiety for the ticket-buying process? I dread it. It's always horrible. I may be able to clear something up though. Everyone is panicking about codes for today's "Official Platinum" sale and there has been much speculation as to what is required. Official Platinum just the "product" name for the super-expensive packages put together by Ticketmaster... and I don't think any code is required. Just $$$$. From TM's site: What are Official Platinum Seats? Official Platinum Seats are premium tickets to concerts and other events made available by artists and event providers through Ticketmaster. They give fans fair and safe access to some of the best seats in the house.
Are Official Platinum Seats resale tickets? No. Official Platinum Seats were not purchased initially and then posted for resale; they are being sold for the first time through Ticketmaster. Ticketmaster's Official Platinum Seats program enables market-based pricing (adjusting prices according to supply and demand) for live event tickets, similar to how airline tickets and hotel rooms are sold. The goal is to give the most passionate fans fair and safe access to the best tickets, while enabling artists and other people involved in staging live events to price tickets closer to their true value.
Why can't I buy Official Platinum Seats for certain events? Currently, Official Platinum Seats are not available for all events. Be sure to check back often as new events are continually being added.
How do I buy Official Platinum Seats? For events where they are available, please note that Official Platinum Seats can only be purchased online at www.ticketmaster.com, and they cannot be exchanged, transferred, or purchased with Ticketmaster Gift Cards.
What is the Current Price per ticket? The price you pay is the original price of the ticket. Official Platinum Seats were not purchased initially and then posted for resale; they are being sold for the first time through Ticketmaster on behalf of the artist or event provider.
Other amounts or fees may also be included in the Current Price, or may be added on top of the Current Price. If additional amounts are added on top of the Current Price, they will be displayed before you complete your purchase.
I'm still a bit confused - is there going to be an Official Platinum presale today? When I go to Ticketmaster, it says sale begins tomorrow morning at 10 AM PST. And from what Shosh said, I'm assuming we won't have a code from the fan site to buy tickets? Nothing on adamlambertfans.com about the Vegas shows.

Apparently the Official Platinum tickets are not for sale today after all. Between when I went to bed and this morning Ticketmaster changed all of the various sale dates, pushing everything back by a day. As for the presale codes... who knows?! I wonder if the people in charge even know. I guess we'll all just have to scramble and stress out and forgo other adult responsibilities as we struggle to get tickets. Also, what is the difference between "Official Platinum", which goes on sale tomorrow, and "Official Platinum Onsale", which begins in 3 days?! My brain is utterly frozen because of the overlapping and jumbled swear words colliding in my head over this matter. Ticketmaster, airlines, and the whole process of trying to get tickets to a freakin' concert turns what should be a joyous experience into something to be dreaded and feared. GRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!

Get a load of the guy in the audience singing along to WWTLF and when Adam hits that final big long perfect note, the guy just gives up and laughs in defeat. What a moment! How are you seeing just the clip? If I get it to play it's the whole concert.

GRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!GRRRR!!! indeed! I agree wholeheartedly!! I too have a brain that is "utterly frozen"! Loved that description. I was also wondering about the difference between "Official Platinum" and "Official Platinum Onsale". This whole process is so frustrating and stressful. For me, fortunately I don't have to deal with the airlines on top of everything else, as I can drive to Vegas.

For me, fortunately I don't have to deal with the airlines on top of everything else, as I can drive to Vegas. As soon as we heard about the Vegas dates we had to drop everything and start working on a plan. Hmm, perhaps take a bus? Nope, that takes more than 24 hours. Train? Nope, can't get there from here, or we could but with all kinds of transfers and 30+ hours. Driving? Bad option. Flying it is. Knowing that we would try for a pair of tickets in the first "presale" (the Official Platinum sale which as of yesterday was said to begin today), I booked flights for Saturday, then going straight from the show back to the airport and home, saving the cost of a few hours in an expensive hotel room. Free 24 hour ticket hold, so I put those tickets on hold. Now the date of sale has been moved back so I lost that hold and of course when I immediately rebooked (putting the tickets on hold), the price had gone up.
