On Instagram i post some gardening stuff, sometimes a meal, when it's a extra fancy, high effort special meal i cooked and some social political Things, sometimes a fun day with friends...but definately that in absolutely no way could describe as overly regular. I use social Media especially Twitter for source of News. On Instagram i find it highly irritating, how freely some display their alcohle consume 😶 happy re adams chest: for scientific reasons ONLY of course 😉 I know from personal experience and from one of my best friends that eventhough the people around you know, are fully aware of what's going on, they don't help. I guess it's being overwhelmed, not knowing what to do... because the last thing you wanna do is make it worse...idk... it's tough

The "you look tired" comment lives on...... I'm not sure what Tiktok is....is it to rival IG stories? Saw where parts of the Govt are banning some folks from using it because it's monitored by China. I really don't want yet another SM app The manufactured drama of social media is ridiculous...one reason I stay off social media altogether. No twitter, Insta, Tiktok, etc for me. I'm sure the comment was perfectly innocent, but fans keep spreading it, ie some fan who felt compelled to write a few paragraphs of how bad this fan feels for making the comment in the first place. Ridiculous. And now as we're learning, some of these apps represent security risks as well...yet another reason to choose carefully what "trend" you choose to follow. Also, and this is just my personal opinion, social media enables a level of narcissism that I'm not sure is really that healthy. How many selfies does one person need lol? Do I really need to know what you had for breakfast, or how you look in the bathroom mirror? My niece posts facebook stories literally every day, sometimes several times a day...often it's just a Starbucks, or a pic of her cat. Well, to be fair, IG, FB, etc. can be used for things other than selfies and drama. MyIG is full of birds, wildlife, my dog, and sometimes places I’ve visited. No reposts of other peoples’ photos, and not a selfie in sight! I understand your POV, just saying it isn’t all airhead narcissism. And FB has helped me stay connected to or connect with family members in a way that snail mail sure never did. JMO, of course. I haven’t had a chance to listen to Adam’s IG session. I do agree it’s kind of rude for someone to comment to his face that he looks tired or whatever.

I wasn't talking about social media for use by celebrities. If the person isn’t a celebrity, then why pay any attention to their posts if it isn’t someone you know? I don’t even see posts by people I’m not following. Sorry, I’m probably piling on, and I’m not criticizing you, just the general assumption that social media is bad.

I wasn't talking about social media for use by celebrities. I understand that you are not criticizing Adam for using social media, yet the point that I was trying to make earlier is, and please don't get this the wrong way, that fans like you for instance, who for personal reasons choose to stay away from social media directly, do indirectly still use it as they enjoy the benefits a great deal. Nothing wrong with it of course, but may be we should not criticize social media too harshly. After all, many of us here are repeatedly delighted when some gracious soul "brings over" Adam material for the enjoyment of all.
