I’m going to Vegas even if the concert gets canceled, save for them literally closing down any of the hotels I’m staying at during this trip. Then again, I lived in Toronto when it was the epicentre of the SARS outbreak in 2003 and I just went about my life normally so I’m most definitely not changing my life now, especially not over something that’s basically a flu virus. Meh. As for tickets, any cancelled event almost always guarantees a full refund at the point of purchase. I understand but the show tickets are the cheapest part of the trip, by a long shot. This trip is costing in the neighborhood of two grand, before eating or any such frivolity..for three days!. I realize that is nada for some but it is a whack load for me :(

mszue Majority of airlines give you credit for future travel if you cancel and many hotel rates are also refundable. But every rate comes with its own set of rules so refer to your booking confirmation. Also, if Vegas is on lockdown and you cancel due to no fault of your own, in those cases majority of travel providers are obligated to provide refunds.

I realize that is nada for some but it is a whack load for me I think the probability of a major disruption is very small. I haven't checked airline policies on open ticket rescheduling but regular rescheduling is usually $200ish which is still ridiculous but better than being out the whole ticket I guess. I try to fly Southwest when ever I can (probably not an option for you) because they do not charge to change flights, but you have to pay the price for the new ticket which is usually higher last minute. So if the show is cancelled the money just becomes credit toward a future flight. Again, not my money back but better than losing it. I have decided to wait to make hotel reservations until closer to the concert just in case. Plus, I don't really know where I want to stay.

Most hotels allow cancellations up to 24 or 48 hours before start time, unless you opted for a cheaper non-refundable rate. I think many of us learned our lesson when the Knebworth event in London was cancelled, a few folks got stuck with non-refundable reservations. I always book my room first thing when a concert is announced because I like to stay at or very near the venue, and those often sell out closer to the concert date. Because I always book a refundable reservation I can always cancel if I decide not to go.

There have been some seminars and conventions already canceled in Vegas and now some concerns about the NFL draft. That's the same week as Adam's shows.
Whenever there are so many people in on place, you can't control the environment.

The Paris cancellations are over 5000 people and it says temporary. I'm not cancelling any plans. We've been through this before I'm a bit surprised. Someone pointed out during the Zika virus which I remember was in Brazil they did not cancel the Olympics. I would think this would be ok but I'm no expert.
Adam's venue's in Vegas is way under 5000. Just as a comparison.

Fingers crossed that they have things under control by the.

I'm still no good at bringing stuff over from elsewhere. Adam just posted Sharka's new art of his open chest look on his stories!
I hope that means he made it back to LA- long haul for sure! Only 19 days to Velvet- I'm taking that day off LOL so I can enjoy GLAAD the night before, watch GMA, relax with Velvet. I'm calling it my Adam day! LOL.
