The Delite The Top Live Bands Of All Time 30. 1. Queen Since the death of Freddie Mercury in 1991, Queen’s remaining members Brian May and Roger Taylor (John Deacon left the band in 1997) have toured with vocalists Paul Rodgers (2004 to 2009) and Adam Lambert (from 2011). Of course, there’s only one Freddie Mercury, but Lambert has impressed fans and critics alike for embracing his role without trying to replace the original frontman. Notably, Lambert’s first American Idol audition — he was runner-up on the show’s eighth season — was with “Bohemian Rhapsody.” www.thedelite.com/the-top-live-bands-of-all-time/31/?lvl=opt2&stack=ssp&utm_content=adrizer

Mornin!! I have a couple of things to mention - first, I'm so thrilled by all the comments from people who watched the doc - they were blown away, and that NETFLIX doc surely reached a whole new group of people! Then, that cover that Adam sang, by The Weeknd ( Able Tesfaye) is fabulous and Adam did it sooo well! ( The orig is great too tho) I surely hope Adam covers that song so we can D/L it! His voice is just beyond description! He could do the same thing the guys did to record You Are The Champions - no fancy studio, just that voice & guitar! Hoping! Last, Adam's friend Todric Hall was on the James Cordon Late, Late Show & he was spectacular! He was one of the most entertaining and personable guests he's ever had! Todric was adorable - with a beautiful smile and great personality and quick wit! I surely see why Adam likes him so much. Plus, he's quite accomplished! He was on season 9 of American Idol ( didn't Winn either) is a producer, dancer, choreographer, etc. I was quite impressed by so many accomplishments and he had that gorgeous smile! It was a great day yesterday, with all the new music, NETFLIX, and Todric! Thank goodness for this site! Happy Wednesday! We're one day closer to this " thing" being over!! 😷😷. 🍷🍷

Nic@nicolec42@adamlambert
Here in Europe we are devastated too... Tour cancelled! Four years of waiting and no idea when we might see you again. If you’d want to console us with a fans-only livestream... we of @adamlambertnl would gladly arrange logistics and promo.

Ugh. Not surprising at all, and better that all uncertainty has been removed, but so sorry about the cancellation of the European tour. I was especially excited for Adam that he had a solo concert planned at Wembley Arena. What a thrill that would have been for him. Yes, I know it couldn't be helped - and yes, I know there are more important consequences than this - but it doesn't stop me from being sad that the whole "Velvet" era has been devastated by COVID. He waited so long, and had so many exciting things planned.
On a more positive note, I wonder what the "handful of other commitments" might be, besides, presumably, the QAL 2021 tour?
And on yet another note, what would a "fans-only livestream" be? Somehow limited to fan group(s) in Europe?
