I just realized how amazingly lucky those of us who have attended the Side A one-offs in December were! It is quite possible these couple of shows will end up being the only Velvet centered live shows!

It is quite possible these couple of shows will end up being the only Velvet centered live shows! Sad, but probably true. Velvet is his true baby, but sadly he cannot give us the full power of it in concert. Those early Side A one-offs were fantastic! It was just a glimpse of what his full live concerts could have become. We have to treasure what we have and enjoy it and promote it and keep streaming it and all that stuff. lurleene, you are so right. I think Adam has a made darn good use of his time. The fact that the whole Pride network of celebrities includes him and FEATURES him is a real testament to how he is viewed in that whole world. I think he's really gotten hold of the activist role and finds it very fulfilling. At least that's what it looks like to me. And yes, he one of the lucky ones who doesn't have to worry about money.

I agree. The Pride events have been great. But it is also great that Adam has been in demand for many non-pride related events too. He is one of the stars who has remained visible for all types of events thru all of this and I hope it continues. He may be working on new material but still nice to see him included in things that are happening.

Been watching this Roses performance again and again. LOTS of fun. So glammy and funky and sexy. Somehow, he can make big flared pants look just as sexy as skin-tight ones. LOL
Just one more comment about his activism. Artists of all kinds are lucky if they can extend their careers by being active in lots of other things in life. Singers don't just sing. Actors don't just act. They use their voices for all sorts of issues. I hope Adam can do this along with his singing. It keeps him in the media's eye in a positive way. It shows he is a full person. And if he's lucky, his magnificent voice will still be intact for many years.

I haven't seen this posted anywhere, and I suggest to write Adam in and let BB know that Adam belongs on that list. I didn't bring it over because I thought they probably made a mistake with the poll title, since the title of the article is: Lady Gaga, Carly Rae Jepsen, Madonna & More: Who Is Your Favorite Gay Ally Icon? Vote!
