I almost kind of get the feeling that Adam is stepping into more of a leadership/mentoring role lately. Maybe that's partly why he started the foundation? I don't know, it's just a feeling. I wouldn't even be surprised if some day, into the future, he might start his own studio or his own label. He knows how difficult it is to start a career, especially if you're part of LGBTQ community. Look at Vincint...he has an amazing voice, and says he still doesn't have a label.
Don't know, just musing...just getting a different vibe from Adam lately.
ETA: Thought I'd better add that I'm not talking about stopping music, or making new music, or performing...that's all too much in Adam's blood to stop any time soon.

I agree with everyone. It was really interesting. He talked about some of this in the open letter to fans over a year ago now. Then their's the Ru Paul interview from last summer which was the first time I had heard him tell the story of how his Mother got him to come out. Plus a few things he says in the documentary. But yeah his entire story is highly unique and I would love to hear him talk about all of. I think we all know he doesn't really like to talk about himself that much. All in all really enjoyed and hope to see more. And svca I think you are right. I think that's part of why he started the foundation.

I think Adam was using this more as a platform for others to speak. He has been fortunate and his stories are well known for as much as he wants to share. And he has had many opportunities to voice his frustrations. He likely did not want to make it all about himself and the struggles he has had. But highlighting more of some who don't have the big platforms or major success that he has had. I agree with those who said he was acting more as a facilitator. He has really taken on a leadership role of late. Very proud of him.

In this tv series, his mom shared her version of the context and conversation of Adam coming out...i 2:30 ish range. The context in this vid does not jive with other stories. Leila has discussed it a time or two. This is the only vid I knew I could find quickly -- where it was brought up. H Did Leila describe the coming out in another documentary done by the fellow in the TSMGO DOCUMENTARY?? Can anyone remember the name of that show?

Yes, the Interview with rupaul was deeper...it was one on the phone (or a radio studio) a few years back. Not the one where he appeared in person in a tv-Studio. Another Interview i remember as going deep was the written one He did with Joey Gray.
