bamafan what amazing memories you collected Thanks for sharing! YW! I went to more shows early on than in the last few years...mainly because Adam hasn't done as many solo concerts. I love the QAL shows but I've cut back on those because of all the costs involved.

Ah - I remember well when I dove 'off the deep end' and purchased this full-length embroidered sweatshirt fabric tunic from a designer Adam loves! I wore it to celebrate Adam's birthday in SF with other Atopers (Planet Fierce alum) and also to several gatherings of friends who knew nothing of Adam. One woman came up to me, at a friend's home, and did her best to translate what the embroidered symbols meant. I loved this tunic - and when Adam wore it as he sung 'Ray of Light' at the Divas show - the night before my mother died - it then took on meaning at a different level. Of course, I lost this tunic in the fire. As the bidding for Adam's 'costumes' began, I thought of trying for this item; but only for a moment. Never again do I want to become a collector of things. Precious things can disappear in one night. The tunic I wore brought me magical moments; and I'm ready to experience more. Looking to the future; not wishing to reclaim the past. I check in to Adamtopia often; even when I forget to actually 'log in'. So many members of the past ten years I no longer see . . . but maybe they're just like me; checking in, but with a lack of words to lend to the thread of any given day. Adam remains a huge part of my life; just as he has since 2009. My knowledge of him and his journey parallels those of my own sons! So many highlights come to mind - meet&greets (which surely changed when he signed with Warner Bros.); pre-show dinners and post-performance parties with incredible, like-minded, besotted folks like me; an on-stage twirl and kiss from Adam in Glasgow . . . and a tequila toast we shared in December at the ElRey - at a special, private M&G before the show. Before my head appears too big, rest assured that I paid for the opp to get close, and was so, so lucky these moments came to pass. From 2009 to late 2017 I had the luxury to follow Adam with abandon - as my 'real' life was a constant support for his creative, joyous genius. From the moment I first saw him perform, he has been an inspiration and spark - and I continue to sing his praises; firmly convinced he is truly 'a glittery alien from Planet Fierce'. I remember a dinner I attended in Canada, in March or April of 2010 (I used to have a handwritten log of every single performance . . .) with Suz, Melisende, and JustKaren. None of us knew each other; I had just obtained my first passport in order to travel to see Adam, and was in Vancouver alone; and I think, while we each knew, individually, that we were 'normal', we wondered about each other - women who would travel far away just to see this Adam Lambert perform! Of course, it was a great evening, and all of us shared so much. I remember telling them "Adam will change the world!" - in regards to the understanding and progress and acceptance of LGBTQ people - people just like us. Now, I look back on how different our world is, in 2020. I know Adam has had a huge role in opening the book, finding the chapter, beginning the dialogue. Since the horrific wildfire of October 8, 2017, I can't pretend my life is, or will ever be, the same. While I still can't resist the occasional magazine, or vinyl album, and I do have a new pair of Adam sweats (from the fansite), I resolve to only be a collector of memories. They can't burn; they will never be ashes. I hope to share them with you in 2021. Until then, be safe and cautious . . . one day we'll again be thrilled with his electrifying presence. Meantime - I'm in awe of the 'at home' performances . . . he thrills me to the core.

I just watched Tokyo Summer Sonic 2014 for the first time. Wasn't paying strict attention then, slowly but surely catching up on all the longer vids. Enjoyed it! I've seen some of the individual videos before but not the whole thing.
Killer Queen on the chaise lounge which I love. I've seen the KQ this way at Auburn Hills, MI and MSG.
Noticed the leopard outfit at the end. On the fanclub Q&A someone asked what his favorite QAL outfit is he said this one!
Really interesting to see not only how Adam has evolved but how they have evolved as a unit. Enjoyed it all!

The positive spirit expressed here is a reason I return. I'm not adverse to differing points of view or deep conversations - our moderators and beloved Q3 keep this place glittery and golden. Believe me - when there is not much else 'glittery and golden', Adamtopia and its namesake become a second, familiar, accepting home. I wonder if there is any other 'fansite', anywhere, that can be this special.

Just wondering when is Adam's next gig? Obviously with covid. Queen been postponed. Might be a while. Just wondering. I think a few days ago a tweet was posted where someone asked Shoshanna If anything was coming up soon, and she said nothing in July... I know things are going well in NZ, but it’s just getting worse here.
