The timing of the announcement happens on Friday at midnight UK Time. It's mostly likely an audio streaming release since Friday is when most new music comes out.

HA! Don't worry Sharon. Good luck but it is not likely to do as well as Boheminan Rhapsody anyway. It may not do as well as Rocketman either, which didn't do half of what BR did. But I'm sure Brian and Roger were thrilled that BR was the movie they wanted and it reached a wider audience. It played well worldwide and the four Oscar wins and QAL opening the Oscars didn't hurt their pride either. OZZY OSBOURNE's Upcoming Biopic Is In 'Very, Very Early' Stages Of Development: 'We Have A Writer' "Sharon added that the film will be "a lot more real" than the QUEEN biopic "Bohemian Rhapsody". "We don't want it to be squeaky, shiny clean and all of that," she said. "We're not making it for kids. It's an adult movie for adults." www.blabbermouth.net/news/ozzy-osbournes-upcoming-biopic-is-in-very-very-early-stages-of-development-we-have-a-writer/

I have always had a kind of soft place in my heart for Ozzy. He's been slugging it out on stage for decades. He's struggled with the drug thing, the booze thing, and the just plain old crazy thing. Sharon has stood by him the whole time. I think a biopic of Ozzy would be interesting. BUT Brian and Roger deliberately made sure that BR could be seen and enjoyed by a wide audience, young and old. And it worked at the box office. Queen has a wide, diverse audience. Black Sabbath, on the other hand, is more purely metal and has bad a more niche audience. The band has certainly been successful and has endured through many ups and downs. If Ozzy and Sharon want his biopic to be a lot rougher and more graphic, that's fine. But they have to accept the fact that it will be seen by fewer people. And besides, Queen and Black Sabbath are entirely different kinds of bands. Of course, Ozzy's fans will flock to any movie about him. I wish him luck.
Just read a little thing elsewhere that the surprise coming today from QAL may be that they are releasing a new original song. We'll soon find out!

I rather like Ozzy and wish him and his bio well. It is just the way Sharon insulted Brian seemed more personal than professional. She acted as if she knew the relationship between Freddie and Brian and the band better than they did. I highly doubt that she did, lol. Brian got to tell his story about the band tho everything could not be included in a two hour film. But I would bet he had a good take on their relationship and Freddie's life. And it made for a very enjoyable movie, imo. I really did not need the details of Freddie's sex life, or anyone else's for that matter (gay or straight), to enjoy the film and get a feel for what it was like to be part of Queen.
