I think making Atop a politics-free zone is a good idea. We live in a very atypical political climate. Maybe a separate thread for "social commentary" would be ok, but I am in no hurry.
As so yesterday's topic about Adam's level of social media involvement, I think we have seen countless people who actual know him or who have met him tell us what a great guy he is. No doubt about that. I wish he would engage a bit more on social media, but I'm not reallly upset about it.
I have heard a few times that shows like DWTS are where "has-been" celebs go when they can't get work. I don't watch any of them, but I know others do and they enjoy them. I will take Adam any way I can get him. But I most want him to do quality appearances that suit him and his career.

I like Adam's face shield, it is unobtrusive. It would not work though if you wear glasses like I do. Somebody needs to invent a glasses clip-on face shield. Also, I want another photo of Adam because how short is his hair really? I thought at first that it was probably about ‘usual’ length but just had no product or blow drying so was flatter and combed flat. But it looks like static has made a bit stick to the car roof and that looks pretty short.... I love Adam looking like this...very natural. (What kind of world is it where he is wearing a facemask and visor and he looks ‘natural’? ) I think short too and very thinned out. Maybe his 'protected' trip was first time to the hair salon. I guess natural is relative and if anyone could rock a face mask it's Adam. I would recognize that eyebrow swoop anywhere.

I love the natural look also lol! Whatever he wants to do I'll take it. He hasn,t posted anything I can see anywhere or liked the posts he usually does. He could just be taking a break. Of course any other time he's been quiet we found out what he was working on eventually. Earlier today I was having withdrawal since my voice remote was down. So I thought surely I can figure out how to access Adam on YouTube on my TV manually. Figured it out lol! Watched a few vids all good!

The Masked Singer has slowly been building a reputation...I think...that is less 'has-been' related....think of some of the stars that have been on there....no young pop ones yet that I can remember...but Dionne Warwick and Patti La Belle are no slouches, for starters. This year would be the year for them to talk some 'bigger' names into doing the show as there is still no touring for them, and reality shows have found ways to work with self-isolation better than larger drama productions, so far. With no audience to worry about, there is no reason they couldn't film the whole show in a couple of weeks...a dedicated virtual audience voting daily....

Actually that was the spoof they did on Corden the night he did Closer to You. It did get big play!

Adam already did the Masked Singer. Actually that was the spoof they did on Corden the night he did Closer to You. It did get big play! Yes, it was indeed a spoof, hence my winky-smilie. I should have been clearer for those who aren't familiar with it. Will go back and clarify so there's no confusion. Adam is great in comedy sketches - he really can do it all.

We read many comments from those who have met Adam and say he is one of the nicest people in show business. Fans have numerous stories of how kind and sweet he is. I saw this article on the seven habits of charming people, and thought Adam fit the bill well. What do you think? psiloveyou.xyz/charming-5027bbf67a44A great article, Cassie! Very thought-provoking, and some advice I need to take to heart. Adam indeed does indeed practice these habits, and from what we know about him and what we hear from him, he is truly a charming man. My only meet-and-greet with him was so brief, but in that very short time he was indeed charming (even though I was so star-struck I can't remember much of it). He didn't seem bothered or distant considering all the people he had to take pictures with that day. As my DH noted when looking at my picture with him: "He took good care of you". I've been blind in my left eye since birth, and Adam was on my left, so I couldn't see him. He put his hand on my shoulder in a very caring way, and let me put my head on his right shoulder. A forever beautiful memory, and luckily I have the picture to prove to me that it really happened! Thank you, Q3. The political divide in our country is so disheartening, and I agree with you that Adamtopia should be our refuge during these tumultuous times. I know how those facing these horrible fires and being evacuated affects the way you can enjoy Adam and all the brightness and hope he brings to the world. For many days during my fire evacuation, and even some weeks afterward, I couldn't find much joy from Adam because I was so shell-shocked, but slowly (it's been a little over two months now), he once again became my beacon of light. May all those facing these fires be safe, and your homes preserved. I am one of the lucky ones who still has a home.
