I know fans, who find that really unfair. They hadn’t been able to ask just one real question, because Adam just did his nice smalltalk, then after 40 seconds he asked for the picture and after that time was up. Although they love Adam and really enjoyed their meeting, it’s upsetting, when you read later, how many people got to chat longer. Ah, the perils of fandom. Some fans get 3 minutes, some fans get 1 minute. Some fans get 100 meet and greets, some don't get any at all. Some fans always get the front row, some never manage. This has been happening for 12 years. You'd think people get used to it. I think that’s different this time. The fans got told before, that everyone would get exactly 1 minute and then the M&G would be over and no chance to prolong it, because it’s a computer system. Suddenly other fans got 2 or 3 minutes for their 100$. Well, if you say many times that it’s only 1 minute, of course fans with these very short interviews feel disappointed.

Unless you literally shut off the M&G camera after one minute, the rule is pretty hard to enforce. I realize their has to be a limit of some kind. Actually I enjoyed that chat with Kathy. She was fun and had good personality and she asked good questions that actually gave us some info. Adam gets caught up in a conversation, too, and that makes it hard. He's a big talker as we all know.

It may not be fair...but fans who are more engaging and take over the convo and ask questions and control the dialogue are gonna get more time with him. That's the same as happens at real M&Gs. Wonder how long he was on with Jamie Lynn smith (laughing pic above)..lol. I guess it depends if Adam is enjoying it as well. Obviously, he was in control of the time to some extent. We've discussed this before, even tho he's an extrovert and a big talker, I really don't feel he enjoys doing M&Gs all that much....more of a business requirement IMO. I may be wrong, just the impression I get. But he is always sweet, kind and appreciative, etc.

That it would all be run automatically. So she didn’t dare to engage too much, to not get over that 1 minute and cut off.

He was literally at home, chatting to his fans via screen. Nobody was able to touch him or hug him. He didn’t have to get ready for a show afterwards. He knew the names and was able to get to know his fans a bit more. I bet it had been as interesting for him as it was for us to finally see the faces behind the twitter names and even get glimpses of all the homes and where people are from.

This time was really easy and relaxed for him and how many folks can make thousands of bucks per hour kicked back from home...lol. This is probably how he'll do M&Gs going forward unless it's some kind of special radio promo M&G in person.

He‘s on the road then and fans travel as well.
