On the other hand, his ballads defy pop music’s cookie-cutter mold: The power of “Broken English” rests on Lambert’s malleable pipes, while the ethereal “Underneath” shines with its persuasive theatricality. “Outlaws of Love” is a smooth ballad that demonstrates the singer’s depth as a performer—and his enviable octaves! entertainment.inquirer.net/43655/....-and-kris-allen

And that voice indeed. Because honestly, from his days on Idol to his rushed, irregularly glammy first album...his voice, literally soars over all. His tender, falsetto start to ballad "Outlaws Of Love" is spun sugar, which slowly builds into crystalline, rock-candy wails by the end. And the songs lyrics ("Everywhere we go /We're lookin' for the sun /Nowhere to grow old/We're always on the run/They say we'll rot in Hell/But I don't think we will/ They've branded us enough/Outlaws of love) bravely stakes out Lambert's place as a stalwart, un-pushy, activist as well as a true-blue pop musician. And his voice, literally and metaphorically, is stronger than ever. convertzofgoodtaste.blogspot.com/....t.html?spref=tw

Over a year old article written by Angelina Kalahari published with her permission: ExcerptIt has been a revelation and exciting beyond words, however, to experience this journey with such an extraordinarily talented performer and vocal master as Adam Lambert. It has also been enormously enlightening to witness some of his inner performances, because his enormous success has its roots, most likely, in the fact that Adam seems to have given himself permission to fail. There are new folks joining the forum or just lurking all the time. If they have not yet discovered Angelina's wonderful blogs and programs, they need to check them out. So, at the risk of repeating myself, who is Angelina? Angelina is a very well respected professional opera singer living in the UK. She has sung with some of the best singers on the planet, and is particularly enamored with tenors. She is also a highly sought after vocal coach. She discovered Adam thru AI, and has fallen down the rabbit hole with the rest of us. She thinks Adam is remarkable --- she will tell you he's the best male singer she has heard. Her blogs and radio programs feature commentary on Adam's voice, artistry and technique. They are in-depth, insightful and fun. Queen: The Next GenerationWednesday, June 27 (10:25)Excerpt: (Google translation) Adam is one of those people who have a variety of shades. He is a natural rock vocalist, but also a singer musicalowo-theater. Represents a new generation, which can exceed those divisions. It is very lively artist, gifted with extraordinary abilities. It can therefore do whatever he wants. I know that I grew up listening to our music, so really, singing our songs, does not need too much away from what is normal for him - he says INTERIA.PL Brian May, guitarist of Queen.

Michael Slezak, on the rumor of Adam becoming an Idol judge:
Lambert’s monster voice is one of the most formidable in the current pop scene, and unlike, say, J.Lo: Mistress of Auto-Tune, he’s got the technical knowledge to offer instructive, insightful critiques that go beyond telling contestants they were “pitchy.” What’s more, the guy has undeniable showmanship skills, and as an Idol contestant, his choice of songs, outfits, and musical arrangements were among the most varied and daring in Idol history. Honestly, who better to push the Season 12 contestants to color outside the lines and push their creative limits?

www.twitlonger.com/show/ibtfpgHmmm >> Culture: You recently traveled to Russia with concerts, which acted as a frontman Adam Lambert. Do not plan to undertake this large-scale tour with his participation? Mae: I do not exclude such a possibility. This guy is great. Adam is full of energy, he's a brilliant professional. He has an amazing voice, and with very few people can be compared to the contemporary scene. His enormous range is not only to take notes exorbitant - thanks to Adam express themselves beautifully. At rehearsals, I was sometimes overwhelmed with emotion. When I first heard him perform Who Wants To Live Forever, I was literally stunned just was not internally ready for such an amazing interpretation of the song. I get great pleasure from the co-operation with Adam. portal-kultura.ru/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=296:-lr&catid=34:football

From a review of the AIDS benefit in 2005, where Adam sang "You've Got A Friend" with Eden Espinosa: Her contralto R&B sound combined with his mellifluous high tenor made for a righteously riveting duet. www.sfbaytimes.com/article_p.php?article_id=4077
