Hmmm...Would anyone be potentially interested in the room? I live relatively nearby so really just want day passes, but my luck with radio stations is zilch.
Haven't dicussed anything with DH yet, but since there's a kid's area and a not-too-horribly late show, I am pondering taking the little one (and the scooter ;D). Heck, since it doesn't look too far from Mt. Vernon, might bribe the husband to do the "educational" trip we've been discussing which might {gasp} force the husband to come to an AL show.
So, what I'm trying to say is that if someone wants a room and a ticket (versus 4pack) for Freshfest we might be able to work something out.

I've gotta stop watching Adam vids right before bed......he is just so in my head right now with Kimmel vids and the stellar performance by him and his troupe. (It's very exciting to think of the concerts to come!) ANYWAYS, shallow end, this morning I woke up dreaming that Adam was my physic hairdresser!? WUT?! He says to me, "Youve got music in your brain!" I'm looking at him and saying, "Yeh, yours!" and the whole time I'm thinking to the side (OMG, I've got Adam in my morning dream and he's touching my hair!) He says, "Yeh, my father too." We chit chat back and forth about his dad -- then, he massages my foot (I presently have a very hurt foot and that has also been on my mind) and whatever he did (it was something kinda new-agey), it felt so much better. Then the lead hairdresser comes over and says to Adam, "You know your tab is presently over 300 margauritas." Adam says, "Yeh, we all went out last night (and shrugs)." That was it, very convoluted and non-sensical but I woke up just so thrilled that he was there! I've gotta get him outa my head!

I was just over at Television Without Pity and several people there mentioned that they were having problems with YouTube. I thought it was just me--the videos take a long time to load and keep stopping and starting as they play. Has anyone here had that problem lately?

I must be weird because this move and this GIF makes me LOL! Is he conducting a science lesson here? Does he think we don't know what the "tip" is? Is he pointing it out for us? Maybe the pants are so tight he can't actually grab his crotch? Or is he just trying to bat it down before it gets out of control? << If that was the case, he lost the battle ;D

Then we disagree on this one Gelly. All I will say is it would only be natural to be unhappy if you had some relationship troubles and he has talked about relationships since idol when he talks about chokehold.
Not sure about that pap video might just have been him being unhappy with the paps, but i think someone made the comment that they thought he was crying.
I totally disagree that Adam was unhappy in 2010. He was beautiful, radiant and living his dream. Sure, everyone has moments and even those who are looking for a special relationship and haven't found it still manage to be happy, fulfilled and positive in the other numerous aspects of their lives.
I don't remember ever seeing a crying video either.
Coming in a little late on the Kimmel performance, but just wanted to say how much I enjoyed it. I went with one of my sons who is also an Adam fan. We were fairly near the front and center but when they asked us to move forward, we all got kinda squished - so I agree with whoever said that those in front could hardly move - but I managed to get in some hand clapping, dancing and all. Since I have some hearing impairment, the very best way for me to hear Adam is at a live performance - then I can truly hear the clarity of his voice. The songs that really resonated with me were NCOE (which I definitely feel should be a hit), Naked Love (that was fun; became almost like a sing-along), and best of all for me was Broken English (so ethereal and with this live performance I could pick up all his nuances; I hope he does this one on an acoustic album at some point). A shout-out to his two back-up singers. They are definitely an asset to Adam's ensemble and bring such a richness and fullness to his performance. Finally - the sound check. I have often been hopeful that at some time I could hear one of his sound checks, and this time I got it. I just love hearing that strong clear voice ringing out into the air. In peeking through some openings in the high fence we could get brief glimpses of him and the band. Whoops and applause from those of us waiting in line.
