This is going to sound stupid, but how do check to see if I did indeed pre-order Trespassing?...I can't find any record of it in my account at all. Very strange. I THOUGHT I did....and I have 3 downloads of NCOE but nothing to say I've got the album on order.

Sign into your iTunes account, move to the bottom, under "Settings" the last category is "pre-orders". If it shows zero, that means you haven't pre-ordered anything, yet.
I would imagine it won't be a pay gig, it's more like "honored to be asked" sort of thing. One of my uncles was on the Chinese Olympic Committee back in 2008, he told me it was such a complicated process to narrow down the performers list, cuz it's considered an enormous honor to be asked, and monetary compensation was definitely NOT part of equation. Well, it could be different somewhere else though...I dunno know.
Well shucks then. I want BB to have all the JACKETS! his little ole heart desires. I'm assuming he doesn't need any more dimmers.
I think performing for a billion people would be enough incentive. Jackets will follow.

I want to download TP as soon as it is available on iTunes or Amazon. Some time back there was a discussion about who had the better quality of downloads, but I don't remember the verdict. Does anyone recommend one over the other?

I've been out of town/web reach for 4 day and am trying to catch up but had to tell you, kanadie, that I am dancing around my living room and chanting with you!!! Amazing that there is so much to cheer for that this is being somewhat overshadowed.

Adam has to knock off Carrie from her No. 1 perch. Maybe a little difficult at this moment. But here's hoping. Gonna d/l from itunes tomorrow, despite all the hardcopies I've bought. After reading the LA Times interview, I scrolled down to the comments, and there was one comment that really smacked you right in the face. Did we know Scotty Mcreery, last year Idol winner went Platinum for his 5 song cd in 3 months. He was No. 1 on Billboard. Country singers really get supported by cd sales.
No, he did not go platinum in 3 months. He reached platinum about 2 months ago and his album came out in Oct. I'll check the date in Wiki and be right back.
ETA: OK, he was certified platinum in January, which is indeed 3 months. It was one of those certifications that was pretty controversial because he was still at least 100K+ away from 1 million in sales. But we all know Certification is albums shipped. His sales right now are 1,040,000
However, I don't think Scotty's sales have anything to do with Adam or are a valid comparison. Their genres, styles, and fanbases could not be more different!

Q3: blueberry. there should be a two labels on tabs at the bottom of the REPLY box -- one labeled Preview and one labeled BBCode. Can you see these or are they gone?

blueberry: Q3, I can still see the labels, but when I click on the Preview label, nothing happens. And every time I start a new post, it automatically takes me to BB Code. Otherwise it doesn't matter, but posting pictures would be easier in Preview (copy+paste).
