So, do we need to worry at all about Adele and Carrie with the Billboard Awards being tonight? I assume HDD takes this show into consideration when coming up with their predictions. At this point, I think, whatever will be, will be. Fate and karma will rule.  |

ETA: Must say that I'm very pleased with how well the album is doing on all charts, especially on iTunes. With tonight's Billboard and Mayer's surging up on the charts (which is inevitable and indifferent to Adam's chart position this week anyway), the album is holding up on its own at #4, ahead of "Blown Away"; NCOE has been going steady between 90 and 110 ever since Idol performance. All these, to me, feel like the album is reacquainting casual fans as well as reaching new fans. With the new MV coming out this week, here is hoping NCOE will fly up the charts!

Here's today's itunes numbers eastern times. Although Adam didn't get a bump from the NPR thing I think considering the BB Music Awards were tonight he did good holding fairly steady positions.

I believe she's looking at this "http://www.apple.com/itunes/charts/albums/", which Adam is at # 3 and Tenacious D is not even on the chart. Not certain exactly why it's different from what the actual iTunes store shows, but that's what I go by. Maybe, someone can enlighten us... ETA: As of 11:30p MST, the album had moved to #5 on iTunes Overall 'cause Carrie's Billboard bump finally kicked in, which was expected. Now, as Mayer takes the #1 spot, Adele, Carrie, Idol Top 3, then Adam trail behind. We'll see how long the bump is gonna last, but either way, I'm so pleased and impressed with Trespassing's staying power (in the top 10), something FYE didn't manage to accomplish. |

At 7:00 am EDT (keep forgetting we're in daylight savings) album is at #3 overall behind Adele and Carrie and #2 in Pop behind Adele.
NCOE is still #35 pop and #104 overall.
The Tenacious D album is explicit so won't show up on some lists that have explicits removed.

From this report, I am going to guess that Amazon, B&N, and even i-Tunes have not reported yet. Tenacious D would be higher if i-Tunes had reported already. Also, I am guessing that Walmart has reported which is why Carrie and Adele are so high. |
