I have watched Kris Allen for a longtime only because of his connection to Adam. And this tweet of his today where he sends a pic of his album above Adam's on itunes in terms of rank?
yeah I reckon that was deliberate. He can be passive aggressive - ive noticed that in the past.
So pleased Adam THEN sent a tweet saying he just bought Kris and Haley's albums (hayley's album is also in the pic under Adams). Thats no coincidence. Its a mature reply to Kris' tweet.

also, I love dark sides 8-) BTW it's so funny that Adam's own definitions of "dark"and "light" sides are different in the vid and the album concepts. In the BTIKM video light means people-pleasing, having good manners and living healthy, being calm, cheerful, reasonable and polite, just like your mom taught you. It's positive, content and passive. The dark side is the opposite - easily bored, ambitious, volatile, it turns self-destructive when idle, it craves change like air and will stop moving only when dead, like a shark. So the vid's concept resembles a kind of a yin-yang in reverse, cause as far as I remember, traditionally the yin part is passive and dark, while yang is light and active.
The album though, it's different. Here the light side means outgoing, winsome, positive and confident Adam, who loves being subversive and weird and desidedly NOT like your guy-next-door at all, thank you very much. Both a gameface and the deepest truth, it's Adam we all fell in love with. And the dark side is just a very human underbelly to all this joie-de-vivre. Hurting, and being insecure, and self-loathing at times - it's all so common and familiar to any of us. Honestly, the only difference is Adam usually shines so bright you don't see any of it.
Wonder if it was intentional or just Adam looking at things at a new angle later. Hmm. Personally I like definition nimber 2 better, if only because the video at times reminded me quite uncomfortably of the people who equate "bad" and "evil" with make-up, booze and awesome heels:D

Is it just my computer/eyes/ears or is the AOL Sessions slightly out of sync? It is especially noticeable during the interview where his words and lips just don't seem to match. Again, maybe I am just hearing it funny or something since haven't seen anyone else mention this. Maybe if I reboot, it will fix it :-[

Ok, when I watched the YouTubes of the AOL Sessions they were in perfect sync...so it seems it was just the actual AOL site videos that didn't play right for me. Yea
So here I am. Banned to the "dark thread". I don't actually have anything negative to say as I am feeling pretty confident in Adamland now (oh no, am I allowed to say that here?!) but in lieu of the fact that we are going back to the old Adam when he didn't show his dark side only the glitter, I feel compelled to cross into the realness of this place. In fact I have no idea where I am writing-which is quite appropriate for the depths of dark-post darkness. I HATE censorship. I hope it's only the crabby peons who see my rebellious statements, for I would hate to be banned forever for declaring that I can not suppress either my light or dark side, and although I regret that my dark thoughts sometimes come up when others are in a light place, I feel both feelings are equally relevant. Certainly acknowledging that Adam's road is a injusticely tough one is part of this journey. After all, "we all have both a light and a dark side". Any guesses who said that? Keeping it real.

Q3: blueberry. there should be a two labels on tabs at the bottom of the REPLY box -- one labeled Preview and one labeled BBCode. Can you see these or are they gone?

blueberry: Q3, I can still see the labels, but when I click on the Preview label, nothing happens. And every time I start a new post, it automatically takes me to BB Code. Otherwise it doesn't matter, but posting pictures would be easier in Preview (copy+paste).
