These are the 3 stations that added, played it but did not play it last week. A spin here really matters: KDMX-FM Pub 0 0 0 Hot AC Dallas 19/RCA Clear Channel Communications 5 4/23/2012 KVLY-FM Pub 0 0 0 Top 40 McAllen 19/RCA Entravision Communications 58 5/29/2012 WWMX-FM * Pub 0 0 0 Hot AC Baltimore 19/RCA CBS Radio 21 5/14/2012 LOCAL REQUESTS ONLY!! Those of us here in Dallas found out that KDMX has removed NCOE from their playlist. It's still on the Top 5 @ 5 on the website but has been removed from their published playlist. They have 149 songs on their playlist and NCOE was removed this week. WWFM is the only Adam song on there. We locals have been requesting to no avail.

I've been having a thought about One Direction, Twilight/Fifty Shades of Grey and Adam. Let me know what you think.
In this training that Im doing in Energetics, one of the models we are taught is that when we like an artist its not primarily because of
their product (song, book etc) their talent the way they look their personality their popularity
Most important is "the place" or state of being they were tapping into when the produced that work of art. We ourselves tap into that place when we hear that work of art.
ie we "download" it through listening to the song etc and if we like that place we expose ourselves to that product.
I think that the thing about the place that One Direction offers, or the Twilight book offers is its
SIMPLE, and offering a psychic address within most peoples comfort levels. Its not that deep! is indeed the vibe.
These are young, handsome boys with simple presence - and in fact those who manufactured their product were also thinking very simply. None of them have a deep, complex presence.
Twilight: its a simple love story between an ordinary unsung woman and a man who taps into a basic archetype in women: a hot, protective, mysterious lover
Adam's psychic address(es) are profoundly joyously appealing to me. But they are challenging, layered and not simple.
Thoughts?

sage, NCOE was removed from the playlist? Not the mediabase form, but the playlist? Isn't that kind of unusual since the song hasn't been out THAT long? Unless they got really bad feedback, I don't really get this.

KDMX and KISS both have their current playlist on their website, under the music section. It is gone now cause I went to check out what I had been told. KDMX added early, spun it quite a bit and promoted it a lot on Twitter, tweeted several times that they were the only station in DFW where you could hear Adam's new song. They actually had been spinning for several weeks so they more than gave it a fair shot. Poor feedback is the only reason I can think of they would completely drop it from their playlist.

Perhaps this has been answered and I just missed the answer.
Will Adam be paid for his Queen gigs or is he doing this for the honor?

And as you said NCOE is on the Top 5 @ 5. I called and they tell me they only get a few requests for it, and not many votes. So perhaps we should sends some votes to Dallas -- www.1029now.com/main.html Really nice folks there!!! Did they tell someone it was dropped or was the playlist the source? These autogen playlists are all over IHeartRadio websites. Don't be fooled.

I find this very worrisome. I should take up residence on the Dark Side. Thanks Q3, I got worried too soon. Now I will add this to my voting list. Should I thumbs down everyone but Adam?

Of course, the person you talked to could have been just selling BS too. :-/

I find this very worrisome. I should take up residence on the Dark Side. No need to go to the darkside. But do not believe radio info from Twitter. Lots of completely bogus info on Twitter about radio. Both KISS and KDMX are Clear Channel stations -- unless a song is a monster hit, only one of them will add it. If we want to get it on KISS Dallas, we need to get it played on KDMX. ETA: It is on the KDMX Mediabase playlist -- so I no reason to believe it was dropped. Which is what they told me. Anyway, if they dropped it from their playlist, they would pull it off the Top 5 at 5 list.

What about 10 at 10. I wanted that spin really badly so I voted an obscene amount today. Hours worth truth be told. I was starting to go a little batty by the end. If NCOE didn't get that spin I am going to be very surprised.
