Oh Tinafea I soooo agree we need to thank all the Queen fans for giving us such great music. Do you have a link to the Queen board? And I can't remember if Talon posted a link to the FLAC files for Kiev?? I downloaded the Moscow files & I would dearly love to have the Kiev files too. I can PM Talon if you don't remember.
And Happycat 14 - I'm not entirely sure HOW I did it. I made myself a margarita & googled how to convert FLAC to itunes & downloaded a software program for $21.95 & presto it worked beautifully. I think the alcohol helped.... 8-) ;D ;D ;D
I don't know if anyone answered your question yet. But Gavin DeGraw is a singer-songwriter who has had some pretty decent hits. He was also on the most recent season of Dancing with the Stars. Not a good dancer but had heart, was joyous, and could laugh at himself. He has a great personality. Sort of like Adam's. He may be the only singer who has ever asked Adam to team up, although maybe to write a song instead of sing. I can't imagine asking to sing with Adam. It could be very humbling--but Gavin does not seem to have a problem with being humbled.

Hey gingerpf, how the heck did you do that? I thought someone said the codec didn't work for Apple, and my brain pretty much died at that point, tech savvy as I am. I've made my dh promise to figure it out, as I'm not allowed to dl anything onto my normal computer... or you can pm me if there's a way I can bloody buy a cd from you! Thank you.
Yeah, at this point, I don't care what Queen fans - except talon! - say. I peeked over at their forums, and I feel for them if glamberts are overrunning their forums. What I can't figure out is why some diss Adam as a karaoke singer and then want Marc Martel instead - and I think Martel has a GREAT voice, but zero stage presence, and um, he won in a contest, so uh, what's the diff, except he was singing Christian music before, and that made him more qualified to be a rock gawd LOL. But in comments under Queen Extravaganza vids - and again, I think all those guys, even the girl who's the object of most of the hate - are really talented, there are Marc fans saying, yay, he moved a little in that performance. And go, Marc, he connected with the audience during that song. Different standards anyone?
That said, I agree with those who think Adam's diva runs are a bit much. I think his TSMGO now is much better than the EMA performance, but I really like the simplicity of something like IWTBF or CLTCL where he's not wailing as much. Also, why does he let his mouth hang open so much during the Moscow show?
The new Moscow jacket that he wore in the Poland press conference was good. Does anyone have the link to the Roger/Brian tv talk show where they talked about Adam? I found it great that at one point when they're talking about Adam, Brian blurts out, "He's glamorous" and I was like, ooh, he's already under his spell hahhaaa.
I am happily going down the Queen rabbit hole lately. Oh great concert vids. Stop me guys, I may start watching Queen + PR vids next at this rate...
I have to comment on this "open mouth" business...it's gettin' a bit excessive to me....

Perhaps he was trying to catch his breath without being obvious about it--always trying to keep it about the show. It looked damned hot in that venue.
Also, I played both Trespassing and Queen's greatest hits in my car today on a long drive....and while I had to skip a few of Queen's songs, I didn't skip a single song on Trespassing. Also, after hearing Adam sing these Queen songs, I now understand many more of the lyrics than I did originally. He's just so good at enunciating! :D

That press conference was awesome. Really, after watching that, there is no way they are done after the UK shows. I just got a strong vibe that there will be more shows. Brian and Roger are into this big-time.
I suspect that offers are coming in already now that people have seen Queenbert in action. And I think that offers will also extend to Adam alone since his profile has now been raised considerably due to the Queen gigs.
I'm sure I'm not the only one here who hopes Brian & Roger have been sitting on a stash of unpublished musical gems just awaiting some magical alien from Planet Fierce to arrive & bring them to life! Perhaps even a rock opera! Many visions and possibilities to dream on...
