Adam's got the strongest team.
Did not understand some of Guy's choices either, but also don't think he let a winner go. He had multiple mediocre ones to choose from.
Just in case we are taking guesses who MelB will pick up,
here's my pick: Vlado, Bratz, Bailey
==================
Just read the article above complaining about the underdog judge concept and the whole game show format. While I agree that the present shows are more about the judges, and idol was in principle better, because it focused on the contestants, the reality is that ratings and drama-wise the judge based shows survived and idol struggled to keep people's attention in the later years. Sad, but true. It did not know how to update itself successfully.
Obviously, I am this time personally invested in Adam, so it matters less to me, but I have to say, this show keeps me entertained, and I still get to 'know' at least the remaining artists.
What the underdog group does for me, is keep me interested in the people that were let go, trying to figure out, whether they might have another chance.
Also, the whole dynamic at the judges table is entertaining. While they are right now quite cozy with each other, MelB is going to shake that one up. She is going to go after Adam and Guy mostly, and given that Adam had to let serious talent go, that puts him on the spot, and she will love that. It is great to see that Adam is totally up for that, he has fun, and understands it is 'game on' between him and her.
Adam totally gets that this is about making entertaining TV, and he delivers.
And let's face it, if a contestant wants to use this show as a springboard to play in the big leagues, he or she will have to be able to break through the noise around the judges table and make some room for him/her-self. They are given the chance to do so, so it is up to them,
So, bottomline, I am kind of disagreeing with the complaint made in that article:

Really, what does it matter if Mel B “steals” a singer?
