Good morning all. Happy Birthday to Flashus and Youarebetterer. Welcome to all the new posters we have had in the last few weeks. Hoopla, I love your dream!! I can never remember mine.
Maybe Sauli will accept Adams award if he wins today. That would be kewl. Not as kewl as Adam on Skype or something.
Cassie, I love that you could and would sit down at your piano and compare the notes and Analise the two songs. The people on this sight amaze me.

I'm Gonna Crumb!! I am lol :D Thank you for that. When I hear the word lifestyle I am always reminded of the "bohemian" lifestyle of the 50's and 60's or the "hippie" lifestyle of the 60's and early 70's. And I prefer a nice butt over a six pak You are liable to find any kind of cookie in my cookeejar(oops, that's part of my 70's lifestyle)

Cookie - Good I am glad it is not just me. I too hope she learns some diction from Adam. I think it would help her immensely.

Is it just me? I can't understand a word that allison Iraheta says when she is singing. Both times I saw her on tour I had trouble understanding any words. I really like her voice and I knew her songs but just couldn't make them out. I thought maybe it was the sound system but the video that was posted this am was the same way. I have liked her since Idol and I liked a lot of the songs on her album. What Is wrong with me!! ???
My thoughts and prayers go out to NZ.
That video of Adam kissing is so Hawt ( and that is something else I don't understand)

You guys are awesome! I feel so special . Hoopla, I just recommended to my nephew last night the middle name of Simone for one of his soon to be born twins. I love Nina Simone and I had no idea that I shared a birthday with her. I have always loved her "Feeling Good" and Adam's is the only other version I listen to. I think Simone is a sexy, sophisticated, sassy, fierce name and since I don't have a real middle name, maybe I can adopt it. It seems fitting since I aspire to be a little more sexy, sophisticated, sassy, and fierce. Maybe that will be my birthday present to myself! Also, I always love lambossesed's edits and this audition one is special. It represents the beginning of my Adam "obsession," the catalyst for some personal self-evaluation and changing perspectives on my life and my views of the world. I know it really "isn't that deep," but I refuse to diminish the impact on my life. Someone here posted this quote recently and it really expresses the impact for me: "In everyone's life, at some time, our inner fire goes out. It is then burst into flame by an encounter with another human being. We should all be thankful for those people who rekindle the inner spirit." ~Albert Schweitzer I don't know who the next person will be that will "rekindle my inner spirit," but I am going forward with an open mind and heart so that I won't miss the inspiration from anyone (including my fellow ATOPers). That quote is so special and about sums up why I am addicted to adam and to Adamtopia!!! [shadow=red,left,300][/shadow]

Ellen mentioned Adams name as a star and game changer from Idol. Randy agreed and said that he had seen Adam recently at a party and that he was working on a 2nd album. So the point is that it was NOT Randy who talked about Adam.He HAD TO after Ellen mentioned his name. Yea pretty much

What did Randy say on Ellen? Can't watch at work. Did it consist of yoyoyoyoyoydawgadamyoyoyo? Or something more substantial? Ellen mentioned Adams name as a star and game changer from Idol. Randy agreed and said that he had seen Adam recently at a party and that he was working on a 2nd album.

I am recovering from my disappointment, and I know in the long run Adam will prevail. But, honestly, should someone who strains on the high notes win Best Vocal over someone who doesn't? Someone whose voice always pours out effortlessly, sweet and pure and golden, like honey from a jar? The Grammys are supposed to be about quality, not big sales. #AdamShouldaWon. But it's water under the bridge now. I am thrilled that Adam was nominated and thrilled that he had this wonderful experience. I'm sure that last year, when he attended the Grammys as a fashion correspondent for ET, he hardly dared to dream that the following year he would be attending as a nominated artist. And he wasn't nominated because he died, or because he had a song that sold too many copies to ignore, or because he's a habit that the Grammy voters can't seem to break. He was nominated because he delivered a stunning vocal performance. And I believe that the best is yet to come! HERE HERE!!!!!THIS ITA
