Just saw Alisha Keys is writing a musical about her hometown. Heard somewhere Kellt Clarkson is writing a musical. Then there is Adam who has been writing for the last couple of years. So, is this the new wave. Singers writing muscials? Or, did they all hear about Adam and think it was a good idea?? LOL Hope Adam's comes out sooner rather than later, seems he has been working on it the longest. There have been quite a few musicals written by pop stars including Sting, Cindy Lauper, Elton John just to name a few. So I don’t think it’s a new thing.

The song I couldn't think of when Adam thanked Michael Orland onstage was If I Can't Have You. Michael was right there at the piano. Adam thanked him for doing the arrangement of the song. Adam said it when he spoke to Ryan right after the song. Adam made a point of it. I agree that Adam's theater experience likely taught him to thank his fellow performers. It comes so naturally for him. He is a kind, thoughtful and appreciative person in his soul. And If I Can't Have You is one of my favorite Adam performances on Idol. Again, one of those slow-downed versions from the original that turned out perfect. I will add Beth to my other favorite song. It was only a snippet but it was so perfect. I agree with everything you posted especially about Beth. He sang it so beautifully I must have listened to it a hundred times. And his costume! Pure Adam.

I am looking forward to Adam on Idol this Sunday!! Although... his bleached hair makes me a bit nervous. I have been watching Idol all season so far and I realized the other day that 9 of the top 12 contestants are from the South. Thankfully, not all of them are country artists, which I bet made it more interesting for Adam from a mentoring perspective I really like the girl from New York (We Ani) and the young guy from Hawaii (Iam Tongi) but as usual my top picks never win. Adam came the closest back then haha. I still enjoy the show and I feel entertained by young folks pursuing what they feel passionate about. I think that Ryan Seacrest is still a fan, and I have a feeling that he may be one of those who have kept pulling strings to invite Adam back on Idol. Of course, I have no idea how it all works, and Rock'n Roll Hall of Fame week seems like a perfect fit. Loved the interview btw. Short and crisp and not too repetitive. Does anyone remember when Katy Perry performed as a guest on Adams season of AI? She wore a white cape with Adam’s name on the back. So wonderful!

OMG, he looks great! And he does look like a teddy bear! Thank you for bringing it over. Does anyone have the sound? The little speaker is showing but there is no sound when play it. Looks like he is stoned in the movie, would love to hear him Are his Tattoos covered up? Or maybe just the video quality. I I think the makeup people did their magic. I agree he looks fabulous.

I’ve posted a tweet with the Texas bill text a day ago(?). Read it. In general “the land of freedom” in the southern states is becoming a pure fascist country very quickly. having guns is the only thing they care about it seems. Scary… I would ask you to kindly refrain from stereotyping “the Southern” states as being a place where “having guns is the *only* thing they care about, it seems”. I am truly at a loss here….The South is comprised of millions of people with a diversity of beliefs about a huge variety of issues. We also offer a variety of cultural, educational, and other activities that do not involve target practice. What you say may very well be true but in all fairness the leaders who the majority of the people voted for seem to be more focused on having guns, taking away women’s rights, denying trans people health care and banning books in libraries. Those are just the the facts.

Great duet no surprise there! He looked stunning. He should play Clark Gable or Errol Flynn. Forget Elvis. Although that was a great impersonation. Wow just Wow!

Whew! I was relieved when he finally appeared. The stand-up chat was just fine. Maybe he did cut short a bit because of Ed, but that's ok. His performance was balls-out and totally great. Great outfit! Now, on to The View later today. Is the View today? I thought it was tomorrow.
