I love nearly all of Adam's performances, and most of my absolute favorites have already been mentioned. I'd like to add "Killer Queen" at United Center in Chicago (if it hasn't been mentioned already, that is!). He looked so excited to be kicking off the tour in general and quite cheeky about his chaise lounge routine. I particularly loved when he tapped and kicked his high-heeled feet off the end of the chaise like a little kid. It cracks me up every time I watch the youtube of it!

I apologize if I'm rehashing questions that have already been discussed ad nauseam, but I'm confused about all the streams. Is it assumed that those of us in the US be able to see the concert live on the BBC1 link or maybe on those other streams? Or will be just be getting audio here? Also, on the BBC1 page, I see that you can register. Do you need to do that to view, does anyone know, or is that just for commenting purposes?

Lol, I see Mys*&@^#r and I had the same thought about Adam's tendency to be ahead of the game. He'll be fine!

If his album comes in May or later then all the songs are over a year old. How can it be current if the songs are all so old? They're current because nobody has even heard them yet.. Can't get more current than that ...Not to mention the fact that he tends to run a tad ahead of trends. His stuff with Pharrell on Trespassing was spot-on for what was to come just a year or so after its release. I think he'll be fine with whatever he does. No matter what, he has his devoted fan base to buy his albums, and these Queen gigs have probably set him up for life financially. He wanted longevity, and I don't know about all of you, but I'm not going anywhere until the universe takes me back and I don't have a choice!

Adam's meeting with Neil McCormick from the Daily Telegraph should be interesting. He gave a rather lukewarm review of Adam with Queen, if I recall correctly. If I'm remembering right, he thought Adam was talented but not as good a fit as he would have liked. Few who have met Adam have left feeling less than enamored, though, so it should be fun to see if this guy's impression changes after becoming personally acquainted. Also, Adam has had a lot more experience with Queen since his first go-round in the UK, so he may seem a better fit to those originally apprehensive now that they are more practiced at working together.

Thank you for the awesome cakes, Betty, and thank you all for the kind birthday wishes! I wish for a lovely Thanksgiving to all who celebrate and a lovely day to those who don't. Off to stuff a turkey and play sous chef to my son, who is in charge of the sweet potatoes and soup. Have a great day, everyone!

New tour dates? So not surprised and so happy for all of them! I just have to say again that all the QAL love is amazing and so freaking incredible, and I'm feeling even stronger about the whole thing than I was before. I think last week brought me over the edge. I am very interested in Adam's new solo work, but I also love the ride that we're getting now. Super excited to see X Factor at the end of the month. Even though it has only been a few short months since they performed together, I can't wait to see what they do. I might be in a different place than some people but my QAL love is beyond overwhelming me these days! I am in the very same place. On that November night in 2011 at the EMA's, I turned to my husband when that tall dark figure began singing TSMGO and said "Remember this day. This is going to change everything." I love Adam's solo work but I never wavered from my conviction that the Queen collaboration was going to give him the credibility that would allow him to soar in all his undertakings. He deserved it on his own but for whatever reason, he needed the catalyst. And it is more than a catalyst for his own solo success. It is a monumental achievement in its own right - reinvigorating and reinventing Queen. Bringing such joy to the band, to himself and to all of us. Miraculous. Mythical. I can't get over the forces of collective karma that brought this about. Reading all the press these days - the pyro-voiced Adam Lambert joins Queen ....etc. etc. coming out of British sites with no FLD makes me beyond thrilled. I love Adam in all his iterations. I love your posts, lelemaple and theosgma! Nothing like having it repeated in the press worldwide that Adam's is the one voice of this generation to reawaken a beloved, iconic band to negate any stigma imposed by his American Idol affiliation and cement his credibility. It's so exciting!

Yes, thank you! After you put those words in my head, I listened again, and it seems Brian ends with "Thanks for the vote, it really means a lot. Thank you." I also heard 'Words fail me'? Whew, thank you, you all have better hearing than me or at least not all the cobwebs I apparently have between my ears. I kept listening over and over just trying to decipher what Brian was saying. What an amazing moment that must have been for Adam to be recognized in a room-full of music icons. I remember how irritated I used to get when I read comments after articles claiming Adam's "15 minutes" were almost over. Well, he's well past those "15 minutes" and, as we all knew from the beginning, he has what it takes to stick around for many, many years.
