My recap from LFO :-) Before I go to QAL I want to write something about other artists (they were all great) especially about Ninet Tayeb and Perfect. Ninet Tayeb seriously is something else, I was impressed by her vocal (and we know how hard it is to impress people who are listening to Adam Lambert on daily basics) her personality, even her look (what a lovely woman!). She said someting very touching „I'm from Israel, I will not say anything more, but it's important for me to be here” and people were really warm to her, they empathizes with her. And Perfect – Grzegorz Markowski, their frontman talk to us about importance of love, of celebrating diversity, about tolerance and we sang with him to celebrate those things not only because we know these songs by heart, we sang with him because he asked us to. We sang to show that we all agree with him. You must realize that for polish rock music Perfect is really big name, they are living legends. They have new song which, I'm thinkg, you all would love if you can understand the words, because interpretation easily can relate to Adam and his impact on our life. It's called „I renew the souls”. There is the translation of this song, and I was thinking how artists are renewing our souls, sometimes even at the expense of their own life. The autor of the words to this song is Jacek Cygan, another big and legendary name in polish music: „I renew the souls” I'm travelling for many years, my profession is very rare. I renew the souls. Although I miss like dog, I must love you from afar, I renew the souls. From time to time something changes in people and they take off their masks. Afterwards they run into the night as if have the power of Aztecs, already they must do anything. The landscapes are drifting around me The life is escaping who knows where I renew the souls. Maybe I would like to live usual life but I do nothing in order to change it. I renew the souls. I wanted stop some day but unfortunately I can do only this. I renew the souls. Source of the translation: forum.mlingua.pl/showthread.php?t=38715QAL were phenomenal, they did everything they can to let us forget about rain (and it was really cold rain, let me tell you). Adam was on top of his game, people was loving him from the first second, not sniffing around „new” vocalist, no doubt. They was his, and maybe that was the reason why ho was so funny and relaxed yesterday? I think that when we sang „We are the champios” the stage was shaking, it was so loud. I'm writing this paticulary for these of you here who were concerned about this concert, and are still in pain and to reassure all of you that Auschwitz was there, that we all remember, because this festival is not about forgeting, it's about remembering and creating new hope from old pain. All those artists renewed our souls yesterday. Again. And we needed it. Grandduchesspf asked what we were chanting yesterday at the end – it was „Dziękujemy” which means „Thank you”. Thank you so much nonchallance! Such a great recap! And thank you most of all for that new concept, "renew our souls". Yes! That is what music can do. And that is what Adam and Queen do together so perfectly, which I have been struggling to put into words. It is beyond joy and fun and great music. They renew my soul.

Can I just say that I LOVE RECAPS!!! Yours is wonderful, nic42! And btw, where were the throne techs? Adam shouldn't have to move furniture. I'm sure he didn't mind, but I do! He is the GFG, after all. Thank you!! And you too maya! I saw Adam move the throne in Cologne too, because it was in the way when he wanted to introduce Roger. He didn't seem to have too many problems with it. Strong guy or light throne? Probably the first option

Ah, a recap of the Brussels show. Where do I even start, how is it possible to put the joy of Adam and Queen into words? The last months haven’t been easy around here, me being ill was actually just a little bump in a road filled with potholes. It got so bad that I didn’t even really have opportunity to live toward the show. I felt mostly anxious. Booking a (too expensive) hotel room at the last moment, throwing some random clothes in a suitcase (it later turned out I hadn’t even thought about taking a toothbrush). The preparations overshadowed the anticipation. Also… my husband would be there. My normally quite critical, skeptical, ‘no not this Adam guy again’ husband, who does like Queen but doesn’t really love Adam. Who is quite an accomplished singer himself, who knows about good singing, but also knows very well how to find that one little thing that is just not right. I knew that I would have one very special guest during the show, freakydeaky , and I was looking forward to that so much. It made me a little apprehensive too, because the TOH show in Amsterdam (her first time seeing Adam) was really not all that it could have been for her. So I really felt she should come to Brussels, and when I heard she would (I’ll insert a thank you here to some people), I worried that Brussels would be less than awesome too. Also, this was such a sad week, first Christina Grimmie, then Orlando, actually the terror alert and security measures were a bit higher than usual in Brussels too. My body wasn’t holding up yet. To make a long story short, I worried. A lot. About almost everything. And then the concert morning came, and we went to Brussels by car. Crazy weather around Antwerp, with busy highways and pouring rain, but we got there in one piece. And finally finally the magic of Adam and Queen kicked in. And boy, how it did. I had early entry, and there was a really nice queue there, organized, nice people. Everything. And when we got in the venue I walked with my husband as fast as we could and we ended up at the tip of the catwalk. Front row!! Which I never expected! skaschep was next to us and slowly all my Queen and Adam friends from all over Europe filled the first few rows, and to make everything complete, freakydeaky got in pretty quickly too, and was able to stand right behind us. The show started and it was just bliss. Brian and Roger (and Rufus!) there, Adam there, singing, playing, making the stage light up with their presence. My husband singing, his voice mixing with Adam’s, Freaky clapping, everybody in the audience having a great great time. Adam getting close to us. And again. And again. I could drink in his face, his aura, his body (yeah, that too). The security guards, who had been really tense at the start, relaxed and started singing along. The guys were on fire and the audience responded. The applause for Adam just went on and on and on halfway through and it only stopped when he started speaking. I relaxed too and when the riffing before I want it all started I felt my soul taken up with Adam’s voice and just spread out above the audience. It was such magic. I touched Adam’s hand too, very briefly, during Radio Gaga, but he had touched me a lot deeper inside by that time. I saw tears all around me after that song. The lives that Adam touches, it is something special. The show was over all too fast, I could have lived in that moment in time forever I think. And I know the chance I will see them again is very very small. But still I just couldn’t be sad then. The sheer joy that these guys put on stage and in everybody’s hearts is just too immense. After the show I was so lucky to be able to hug mayumi and her friends. We went to our hotel bar, and when I came back in I heard my husband raving to somebody about Adam. That the show was simply amazing, better than he expected. And that Adam was awesome, not just because he hits the notes, but because he know how to tell a story really well. Later my husband told me that the things that Adam does with his voice were just ‘crazy’ and that Adam is a showoff (but that he totally would be too if he had those capabilities). Later on facebook he posted some pictures, telling everybody that he finally understood why his girl was following Queen around. I never have heard him this positive about anything. It made me very very happy. After the show the magic went on. We had a great nights drinking and talking with some others that went to the show. And still in the afterglow I posted some of my pictures on twitter, and they just took off. The mentions of people loving them are still trickling in, and I am very flattered, and also happy because they let me stay in the Queen bubble just a little bit longer. So I’ll end this with one of my pics that you probably have seen floating around somewhere, with this beautiful joyous king and Roger hugging at the end of the show.

I guess we really have to watch this vid of DSMN Does anybody have a video stream anywhere? If you're talking about the IOW highlights, that DSMN is all the QAL there's been so far :( They used it as a promo but really are covering the whole day in this 3 hours, There's sooooo many adverts, loads of interviews and chats and right now, one and three-quarter hours in, have reached the Stereophonics. The quality of the recording and the crowd shots for DSMN we re great; just hoping for some more good stuff. Perhaps, with any luck, the last hour????? I was actually referring to the Poland concert, because there was quite a lot of screaming going on on the stream. I gathered something noteworthy was happening. But maybe it was just Adam being there. Which is quite noteworthy in itself . I really hope that that we will get some more QAL later on in the IOW highlights show though! They just must broadcast that WWTLF

After this sad week I had wondered what Adam would do on stage with his emotions. Would he be sad, angry, extra intense or completely professional? And then in Brussels they did something I never expected. They transformed all this hurt and worry into joy. They celebrated the fact that they were alive and we were alive and free to enjoy music together. And yes, there was a place for grief too, for everybody who has been lost. For the innocence that is lost again and again. But many people came away from that show healed and filled with more light than before. I just know what they did in Brussels they will do tonight as well. If there is any place in this world that needs some healing, it is this one.

Finally I got all of my pictures online. I tweeted some of them out yesterday, and found modest twitter fame for a day, to my surprise. Really weird to just have your mentions on 20+ for most of the day. Next step: write recap The complete album is here, and should also be visible for people without a facebook account. www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10154309357944588&type=1&l=462966576f

nic42...I didn't see who's it was to credit. Is it getting credited to you on twitter? It's is such a great moment that you captured!! All your pics are amazing! Did you write a recap that I missed? I'd love to hear about your experience! I am mostly getting credited, it is fine! I know pics are going to float around once you release them to the big internets. I didn't write a full recap yet, we just got home and this time I needed to just bask in the glow of that amazing show a little more before trying to put something on paper. I will try later! This one was special, but I don't even really know what to say about it. There was just such happiness and joy all around. It is easier to put conflicting emotions into words.
