It's been a while, but I just wanted to say that Adam's group, win or lose, are so lucky because you know they will have Adam for a mentor a long time after X factor is over. If they are smart, they will keep that relationship going. Adam is very loyal and these are his first babies so I think he will always be there for them. Lucky kids!

I am going solo to the Riverside on Tuesday. I live in a suburb west of the city. Are any of you here at ATOP going? Want to meet up for dinner? Mo's Irish Pub is reasonable and right next door. I helped arrange a private room there for Glamberts during the Glamnation tour. They were very nice and blasted FYE album out into the street. Anyone want to carpool? I am willing to drive if you are not too far away. I took Tuesday off work to get ready and Wednesday off to recover!! Please PM me. Sorry I posted in this thread but the meet up thread for members only appears to be dead. Vikki, my daughter and I are going. Would love to meet up! I will be coming with 3 non-Glamberts. First time seeing just Adam - they did see him with Queen with me. I will see if I can talk them into going to the Pub! I have never met anyone from Atop ???? Sounds like fun! They don't get my obsession, maybe this will help sway them;)

I went to Wal-mart twice this week looking for Adam's album. No luck. There was not even an empy space where they would have stocked it :( So, I went to our local music shop that I had never been in before, sort of grungy and small, but they had 1 copy of the explicit version. I asked if they had more because I wanted to get another one for my daughter who is not YET a fan. They said they would have another one in next Tuesday. ONE!!?? So I asked if this was normal or if this guy just wasn't very popular and he said "Oh, no, he has a great following.". So WTF? Anyway, he said CD sales are wired like that, not many people buy CDs like that anymore. OK? James Taylor had 4...Guess I' ll run back ther on Tuesday

Mom woke from her nap and Dad showed her the article on Adam Lambert. Mom was so pleased, she had to call me and tell me about it. She couldn't believe that my Adam was in little Manitowoc, Wisconsin. "No, Mom, Adam is in New York. It's just an article in the local paper." "No, Mom, he is not going to perform in Manitowoc. This is publicity for his new album." "No, Mom, he didn't talk to the local reporter at the paper. This is a syndicated article. Please clip it out and save it for me." My mom has Alzheimer's and her memory and cognition are impaired, but she still knows me and knows I love "that singer." It is one of the only topics she still can initiate on a phone call. To show that she still cares about what I care about. You gotta smile thru tears, sometimes. So sweet. I live in Manitowoc too and a friend emailed me today and said "Your boy is in the paper!" It took me about 1 second to figure out who she was talking about. Nice surprise.

if u guys are still playing the "name the single" game , my guess is "Eyes on the prize" dunno if that name was mentioned yesterday ... $5 on the floor Through My Eyes Only. I don't think he is looking in a mirror. It looks like he is looking over the top of a mirrored surface, hiding the lower half of his face. I think we are up to $15 bucks down!

Oh my, so sorry for your loss, too! I'm sure you do miss him very much. :( So awesome that you went to Denver to see the Glam Nation tour and new friend made that special effort to get your magazine signed!! WOW!! I've seen Adam once, in Council Bluffs, Iowa, during the GNT, with HooplaPF, who doesn't reside here anymore. :( But.........it was the most amazing, electrifying concert I've ever been to. I was actually in another world and still have problems remembering it..lol! He does that to you, you know? I could not believe that he was really there, that he looked real, that he didn't look real...etc., etc. I was so flipping amazed and bedazzled that I still have very few *real* moments left...unfortunately. Wanted to go to one of the Queen shows so bad, but $$ and the fact that I was going to see my son in HI later in the year squelched that, pretty much. I regret it, but knew I could not do it. So, I live for the streams, and the vids. I'm happy with that. It's so amazing what we get with the streams, like tonight. So fucking amazing...I'm happy with it!! Would love to see them live, but I know if I saw them once, I'd need to do it again, and again, etc. too!! LOL And, I'm really not good with big crowds. A bit of claustrophobia here... But, I would deal with that if I had to...LOL!!! Yeah I know what you mean about not remembering, AFL has that effect on lots of us LOL! Sorry you didn't get to see QAL live. I was so fortunate that they did 2 shows in Texas, both within driving distance for me. I really couldn't afford it either, but I was determined if they were that close I was not going to miss it, and it was FABULOUS!! At the Houston show I had a floor seat, and in Dallas I was on the 1st tier so I had good seats both times. I feel fortunate for that, but I would give my right arm to be over in Europe for at least 1 of those shows. I'm just going to be content that I did see them twice, and now I'm saving up so I will be able to see a few shows when Adam has his own tour! I have no doubt that it will happen. It just seems like everything is finally falling into place for Adam and he will become the superstar we have known he was from the beginning. I have never been a fan of any singer or entertainer before Adam, and I am having soooo much fun with this. My family all think I have lost my mind, but I don't really care, they are the ones missing out. I've tried to explain why I am so fascinated with him, but they just don't get it. Sometimes I'm not sure if I get it myself LOL! The way I feel about Adam is just so overwhelming at times, and it's hard to believe I feel so deeply for someone I don't really know personally. I met a friend who is actually from the area of Texas that I'm from, but now lives in Austin. We have not met in person yet, but we have talked on the phone and e-mail quite often. We talked the day of the new label announcement and we both were saying just how much JOY Adam brings to our lives, and for that I am so grateful. Also, meeting new friends that you feel such a connection with, because they feel the same way about Adam, it is just such a gift. I also agree with you that if Adam was not the kind, loving person that he is, I don't think I would feel the same way about him. It isn't just his voice, it is everything about him. He truly is one of a kind, and I feel so lucky to have been on this journey with him from the beginning. I totally agree with everything you said. Are you sure you are not a mind reader? LOL! It' s like I have my own ghost writer. Thank you for saying EXACTLY how I feel.

it's sort of like when your kids grow up and leave home. So thrilled for them and proud of them but a little sad that they won't need you so much anymore. I can't wait for what is yet to come! So excited for Adam and those of us going along for the ride! I also want to throw a Hugh thank you out there for all of the ATOP folks who do so much to keep the rest of us updated with videos and links and everything else we lurkers and non-technical people would never do on our own. I also really enjoy all the debates and conversations even though I'm not much of a contributor
