I've not been lucky enough to hear GT here in Joplin but something cool did happen. I played if for my daughter, who has always just tolereated Adam!s music, she said could u play that again, I did. The next thing I knew she'd bought it!!!!! Joplin? Is that Joplin, Missouri?! I'm in Saint Louis. I have heard it on Y98 here. Can you get Y98 where you live? Z107.7 was suppose to have played it too but I haven't heard it yet. Yes it's Joplin Mo. We can't get St, Louis stations here . Our local pop station hadn't added it yet but I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Truthfully I don't live in Jolpin I was born and raised here but after the e tornado we moved to Oklahoma .We now live on Grand Lake but I still work in Joplin at Mercy Hospital ,

Hahaha!!! Now THAT is funny !!! Rose PetalMarch 4, 2015 at 3:57 AM I sit completely still eyes fixed and dilated breathing shallow and labored. I'm vaguely aware of the world around me of commitment and necessity. I'm aware of a nagging thought that I should be doing something , but I push it back. Suddenly....!!! the door opens , my inner sanctum has been penetrated. It's my husband. "Aren't you going to fix any supper you've been staring that picture of Adam for three hours and I'm starving." Reluctantly I tear myself away and head for the kitchen. "Will hamburgers be alright dear? " I call in my sweetest voice. "Yes, anything ,anything I'm just starving and bring me a glass of tea." "No problem dear I'm coming "again and my sweetest voice. Now where did I put that big can of Cayanne pepper;)

On M's facebook page, several people were wondering if he'd been hacked, because he's in London, but several of his posts were coming from California... idk how that even works. And that is the first comment I've EVER MADE on Atop about Monte P. And it will be my last. This is my first and last as well. I know this sounds crass but I just don't care. What goes on between Adam and Monte Pittman is thier business . I do think he was probably tweeting while wasted, but oh well . To quote someone I care deeply about...it ain't that deep. If Adam's good with him so be it, if not it's his loss.

Good morning everyone, I am touched that you missed me and my poems. I am doing fine and have thought about everyone here but have had zero time . My husband has not been well for several years now, so last spring we decided he would retire at 62. We put our house up for sale and started looking for one at the lake. Perfect plan ... right... Well not so much because our house sold in 2 weeks and we couldn't find a house in that length of time. So we did the unthinkable, moved into our daughter and son in laws extra room. We all get along really well but she sure has s lot of rules !!!! So we have been housing hunting like mad people. I'll be back when I have more time thanks again for the concern.

Hello to all, I've been underneath for a while now, fighting clinical depression is uphill battle everyday. Toramenr I certainly know what it's like to feel different. I was the poster child for weird and different when I was a child and I guess now too. I am glad to hear you grew up in a good place, who we are is often so influenced by where we've been. My father was a bipolar pedophile but I escaped early and have a good life. I've just not quite ever been able to leave the past completely where it belongs, in the past. As such I sometimes struggle day to day, but enough about me. I was so happy to see the Supreme Court decision I thought I'd drag out an old poem form a few years ago and share....mostly because no one else, save for my wonderful family cares, and I have found a new kinship and audience in you wonderful people here. I hope to read prose from others here and view all the beautiful photos and drawings, fractals ....which I really enjoyed...and all other creations Adam's wonderful fans bring here. Good day to all....rosepetal Injustice I am injustice and my reach is wide and long, I’ve strangled equality, and I cradle what is wrong. I judge equal rights on sexuality, you can’t marry Who you love, but it’s alright for me. I bare no burden to except you, for who you really are For I hold great power... and bare no mark or scar. I was born of ignorance but feed on hate and fear, I have not care for what is right, or those whom you hold dear. At times I feel like weakening and letting hope prevail But I am just the instrument, its man that guides the sail. If only he would open his soul and his mind, Then he could drive me from his heart, for I’ve no place to hide. If he could accept that all are different, yet still the same They bleed.. They love...Theylive their lives and all know my name. Perhaps one day they’ll understand and love will have its day, Equality will come rise above, and right will come to stay.

www.billboard.com/articles/news/6113736/classic-rock-roll-honour-awards-hollywood-november-4Classic Rock Awards Heading to Hollywood in November (Exclusive) Articles News By Gary Graff | June 06, 2014 9:54 AM EDT The U.K.'s Classic Rock magazine is taking its show on the road and planting a flag in the U.S. Classic Rock will bring its 10th annual Classic Rock Roll of Honour Awards across the pond for the first time ever on Nov. 4 at the Avalon in Hollywood. The gala will include the annual Classic Rock Living Legend Award -- previously won by Jimmy Page, ZZ Top's Billy Gibbons, Alice Cooper, Black Sabbath, Ozzy Osbourne, Rush, Iggy Pop, Jeff Beck and Lemmy Kilmister -- along with a selection of other categories, many of them determined by a public vote. The characteristically star-studded show will also include live performances, celebrity presenters and, for attendees, VIP amenities. An announcement of categories, performers and emcees (previous hosts have included Cooper, Kiss' Gene Simmons and Duff McKagan) is coming in July to coincide with Classic Rock's 200th issue. "We thought this was the 10th anniversary we should take this thing to the second home of rock 'n' roll," Classic Rock editor Sian Llewellyn tells Billboard. "We want to take this globally now, and the Americans love rock as much if not moreseo than the Brits." Classic Rock, in its second year owned the Team Rock Limited, which publishes other magazines and runs on online radio network, is also hoping the ceremony will help the high-gloss monthly get a stronger toehold in the lucrative North American market. "We celebrate that sort of rock music that doesn't get quite the love maybe it deserves," Llewellyn explains, adding that the publication's approach to the genre, with bands such as Alter Bridge and Black Stone Cherry as cover subjects, is not as static as its radio format counterpart in the U.S. "We're not just dusty old rock; we're all sorts of rock. Classic rock means the Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, the Eagles and all that, but it also means brand new bands that follow on in that great tradition of rock. If it's got loud guitars and rocks and is in the tradition of classic rock, it's good -- not just great new music from stalwarts and veterans like (Tom) Petty or whoever. There are a lot of new band that have taken those influences and run with them. So (the awards) will involve those kinds of bands as well)." The Classic Rock Awards have been held at venues in London, including the famed Roundhouse. For the past two years the show has been televised via Britain's Sky Arts. A broadcast deal for this year's ceremony is currently being negotiated. That would be awesome....but...for me dang dang and double dang!!!! I just wrote menus for a major catering event on ....of course Nov 4..... That's the day before my birthday , we just sold our house and are staying with our daughter and son in law, while we look for a home at the lake. They don't watch a lot of TV and don't see a need for a DVR really!!!!
