Happy New Year to everyone here at Atop! May it be a wonderful year filled with all kinds of Adam goodies!
Kryptoman68, thank you so much for your labor of love which we all enjoy immensely.
My family has a tradition at holiday time which is also charity related. Instead of exchanging gifts, every person/family nominates a charity. Each one writes a proposal with information about that charity, and they explain why that particular charity is important to them as individuals. Then we all vote on those proposals, and the charity that wins receives a donation from everyone. Since 17 of us are involved, it is a substantial contribution. The donations are made in memory of my parents. Since we are scattered around the country and can't all be together at Christmas time, it really unites us as a family at this special time of year. Over the years, we have all learned about so many different deserving charities. I'm the "gatekeeper" for this project, and as my niece once said, it can be like "herding cats" to get everyone to submit their proposals and cast their votes. This is our 17th year doing this, and I'm so very proud of my family for continuing this rewarding endeavor!

I can't tell, is that Adam really wearing a Santa hat, or is that a fan edit of Adam wearing a Santa hat? Either way, that picture just takes my breath away!

I love it when Adam wears blue. It brings out the gorgeous color of his eyes!

Late to the discussion, but I agree with many of you that I would sorely miss a daily thread. I too come here several times a day to catch up with all that is going on with Adam. I'm not on social media sites, so I certainly appreciate all the posts that members bring over from twitter, tik-tok, instagram, etc. (call me a techie dinosaur!). I'm so very thankful to Q3 and all the mods that keep this wonderful site going. We are indeed a very special family!!!

happy, I'm still recovering from yesterday's long drive back home. To answer your question, I alternate what are my favorite Adam albums to play on long drives. Often one of them is the Playlist album to hear the Idol recordings, Marry the Night and Can't Let You Go, but this time I wanted to keep hearing Adam's live versions of Marry the Night and CLYG in my head! Velvet is often a must, but I love listening to Trespassing and TOH, as well as For Your Entertainment and his acoustic album. For some reason, yesterday I was playing Live Around the World a few times - I marvel at QAL every time I listen to it. (And put WWTLF on repeat). I have a hard time naming a favorite!
What an amazing Halloween costume! He keeps outdoing himself, and I have to say I'm rather glad it wasn't a vampire this time. How did he get it all together after closing out his Vegas residency the night before?!

happy, just read your reply in yesterday's thread. That Queen residency in Vegas was wonderful, and it was great to meet so many Atopers, including you!! Hope we can see each other again sometime! Now I'm about to leave Vegas for my very long drive home to southwest Colorado. So many beautiful memories from this trip!

I definitely have an Adam hangover this morning!! What a finale for his Vegas residency! I couldn't believe my eyes and ears when he started to sing Can't Let You Go - that song is pure heaven for me. Oh, tears of joy! Adam really let loose last night, and it was definitely my favorite of the three shows I was blessed to attend (in spite of loud fans in front of me who were in constant motion). Hopefully he will have more Vegas residencies in the future. It's great to be in one location instead of traveling from city to city! I seem to remember that Brian and Queen weren't that fond of having a residency in Vegas at the Park Theater, so that might not happen again. Sigh. But with the success of Adam's Vegas residency, I'm hoping beyond hope that he will have another one as time and his busy schedule permit. And hopefully live shows that are not impacted by Covid! I know many of you canceled your plans to attend in person due to Covid, which makes me very, very sad. This is a show to remember and cherish! Thanks to all who are bringing photos and videos here so we can relive these magic moments.
By the way, I love Adam in long coats. Reminds me of the EMA's (trying to forget the haircut, however). A toast to Adam for an incredible production, soaring vocals, great dance moves and wonderful musicians! I too think Eric is a marvelous lead guitar player.

My recap of last night's concert. This time I was seated on the right as you face the stage, not too far in from the aisle in Row L. Have to say that the sound was better balanced there than I experienced in the middle section, and I could hear Adam's incredible voice more clearly. Also, the fast-moving videos and ever-changing lights were not as distracting for me. I'm very light and motion sensitive, so that could explain why sitting to the side of the stage helped me. Adam was on FIRE last night, and moved around and danced so much that I found it difficult to take good pictures and videos! His voice sounded even stronger and more emotional (if that's even possible!) than my previous concert last Wednesday night. Underneath again was my favorite of the night - I was definitely in tears once more. That song just tears at my heart strings. Alas, no Can't Let You Go, and I fear I won't hear him sing it tonight either. The Runnin medley was even better this time around. The band again sounded fantastic, especially with the more balanced sound to my ears. The crowd was even more enthusiastic than my last show, and there were lots of people dressed up in Halloween costumes. So much fun seeing so many die-hard Glamberts in the audience (including me). I'm so fortunate to be seeing this show three times (my trifecta of concerts, as one person here put it). Who knows how long I'll be able to travel to Adam or QAL concerts (HOPEFULLY more QAL concerts in the States!) - I'm certainly not getting any younger (I'm in my 70's).
Tonight I'm on the left side facing the stage, row M, and I will once again be in Adam heaven. Mszue, so sorry that you couldn't come to Vegas - we would have been sitting very close to each other, one row apart during tonight's concert. Also, sorry that we couldn't have meet-ups with fellow Atopers - too risky during these Covid times.
SO happy that so many of you were able to enjoy the live stream of this marvelous concert!!!
