No idea why LNX is there or has been there, but I'm sure there are lots of celebrities that don't attend for one reason or another. I'm sure Adam isn't singled out. Maybe somebody can ask him during the next Live...would be interesting to find out if he would even be interested in attending. Although I can totally see him in one of those more daring outfits lol.
He would probably enjoy the dressing up part. He would also look totally gorgeous in a traditional tux, as we've seen before.
For the most part, I just find some of the Met Gala fashions weird, whether male or female...but I'm not really into fashion in general, so there's that lol.

Well, he must have someone working for him, he's been pretty busy in the UK, and now in Australia with The Voice, plus the animation projects. I'm sure those jobs don't just land in your lap, so someone's working on his behalf. And it was interesting because when Shosh would tease stuff on twitter, some fans got mad at her for it. So like Nighowl said, maybe it's more normal for his team to work behind the scenes.
As far as PR, have no idea how that works or who that is for Adam, but they could take lessons from TS team...I swear every other post on facebook is for TS, and I'm not even a fan. I swear every time she farts, there's a magazine article about it lol.

So glad Adam will be on Ru Paul's Drag Race. I love Ru Paul. He's so smart and funny and generous and kind. I remember him years ago doing radio interviews, just starting out. He seems to really like Adam, too. He's had him on his show a number of times. Love that intro for Adm on the Big Mouth show! And the audience went wild!I loved the audience reaction.

Lol, Oliver doesn't strike me as a pushover...good for him.
"Fans" can be such bullies sometimes.

Good grief…can you imagine the grousing if they had gotten Marc or someone else to sing the part! Haha, right? So happy Adam got to participate in this...looked like a fun event. I'm going to have to check out this Big Mouth program...never heard of it, although I'm not really big on the comedy stuff (except for the old Carol Burnett show, loved that one).

The Freddie cartoon had everything to do with Adam's performance, the way I understand it. the Freddie cartoon is part of the story being told, the ghost of Freddie being one of the dead icons giving advice or whatever to the 7th grader, performed by John Mulaney.
Adam is voicing the ghost of Freddie.
I'm not sure how to explain it any better.

Quackn, if you look back at the 5-3 and 5-4 threads, it was explained that the song that Adam sang is apparently from Season 1 of the Big Mouth show, which features a 7th grader (john mulaney) questioning his sexuality and looks for help from the ghosts of dead queer icons, including Freddie Mercury (per tweet from kara_rose)
So the scene and the song were there before Adam, including the cartoon of Freddie.
I guess they could have asked Marc Martel to perform at the Greek, but it was rather fitting and nice that they asked Adam. And no, in this case, the performance wouldn't work without Freddie.
I've never watched this show, so I was confused what the whole thing was about too.
