Fight back with a triple play: 1. Support J C Penney by buying a JCP gift card. 2. Support LGBT youth by donating the gift card to a non-profit group that supports them (such as 1 in 10?). 3. Enjoy a tax deduction! :D Great idea, JustKaren - a JCP gift card to 1n10 would be perfect right now because they are in process of getting ready for Outdoors! Camp, one of only a handful of such camps for LGBTQ youth in the world. It was attended by youth from US, Canada and Mexico last year, and continues to expand globally. onenten.org/?s=adam+lambert+outdoors+camp - read at this link about the contributions that Adam's fans made to support 2011 Camp. You can send the JCP gift cards to the Camp's director: Kado Stewart c/o 1n10 2700 North 3rd Street Suite #2011 Phoenix, AZ 85004 (602) 400-2601 onenten.org Thank you again, JustKaren, for this timely triple play!

reihmer...congratulations on your new title...I know you contribute in all kinds of wonderful ways but what I observe the most is your consistent, quiet and kind support and acknowledgement of others.

Jerry and I went to B&N today to get my NOOK in order. We were sent back to the music department to talk to a young girl. There was a woman there buying CD's for her husband for father's day. Of course, we jumped on her immediately and talked her into buying Adam's Trespassing. She had picked up the regular album and when I noticed I said "oh no, you must get the deluxe copy because the bonus songs are some of the best songs on the album." Then I shoved the deluxe copy into her hands. We continued to talk music and became quite friendly. As we walked out of the store together she looked at her sales slip and said "that album better be great because it just cost me $17.99." I bought one from B&N online for $8.99. I really felt bad. Why would they put a price like that on his album? They might sell a lot more if it were a little less expensive. Oh well, I got one person to buy it. I was happy. I just hope her husband loves it. She said her husband liked him on idol and she didn't, but she thought he should have won. Crazy day today. Thanks for being a role model (along with Jerry), irish1139 - I'll carve out a little Target time and hang out in music section to make CD "recommendations" in next day or so. :-)

Can I make a suggestion? Please all of you who are on twitter even though you don't use it much, please tweet this BBC article . It will count very much on future coverage if BBC sees the interest for this artist. It's very easy for those of you who don't know. Just click on the top right of the article tweet icon. When you put your mouse on the icon it says "share this page on twitter" . Please do it. www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-18396486Thank you, gelly. Not sure if it helps to get their attention, but I modified BBC News to @bbcnews and Adam Lambert to @adamlambert in the message...just takes a sec to do that once your instructions are followed. Will post every so often over the next days.

Never Close Our Eyes is back in iTunes 200 (pop) at #186. I don't remember it being lower than 200 in last week or so.

I think Adele possesses a remarkable intuition, artistry, and a depth of feeling for someone so young. I am heartened by her success. In a world of gimmickry she is the real thing. That is said beautifully, juniemoon. As thoughtful, substantive artists like Adam and Adele gain support and visibility globally, hopefully their amazing talent and depth will be recognized as such and be the music of choice more often then not. Trust the process, not the plan (I have to keep reminding myself!).

This is a lovely and thoughtful "Adam story" that I promised I would share once gaining permission of the storyteller. First some background:
Many of you contributed For Your Entertainment and more recently Trespassing CDs to Sister Soldier Project, but also gave your kind, loving thoughts and other support to the project as well.
April 2012 marked the 5th Anniversary of the Sister Soldier Project's formation. During these past five years, over 7000 hair care packages were shipped to the Sister Soldiers serving in the Middle East. Well over 800 of those packages had one of Adam's beautiful CDs also in the package. I love thinking about the women soldiers opening their mail and finding Adam looking up at them :-) I also wonder where the CDs end up once the soldiers are home. I love all these seeds that were planted and now hopefully blossoming elsewhere!
Sister Soldier Project is now wrapping up due to draw down of troops in the Middle East. So, the project's wonderful leader and founder is able to free up some time for more things, such as housework. (She plans to go to one of Adam's concerts as soon as able, too).
I encouraged this amazing leader to listen to Trespassing "sooner as opposed to later". In gaining the ok to share her reaction to Trespassing with the fans on this "mature site", :-) I'll set the stage a bit by saying she's an African American woman who lives and works in the Central Coast area of California. Though California is certainly diverse, maybe not so much in this part of the state.
Here is the email I received after her first listen - subject "Chore Day":
"Every few weeks I select a few CDs, and commence the dreaded house cleaning chores. Today, I listened to Trespassing, and with first few bars, I had to put the broom down and listen to the entire CD. You know Adam well, so this may not be news to you, but I was taken on how personal the CD is, incredibly revealing. Then, I was amazed at how different his experience is from mine, yet Trespassing reminded me of my first visit to San Luis Obispo County. No matter where I went, work, drug store, movie, strangers would say to me "you are not from around here are you" or "where are you from". For a big city girl, it was the strangest thing to me. That goes back 15 years go, and to this day, I still get asked similar versions of those questions. Anyway, I know Adam mostly through his incredible fans, I hope they like the CD and it sells millions. We received about 30 CDs for the Sister Soldiers and sent half off already. I have enough stuff to ship about 20 packages, the last for the Project. Hope you are having a fantastic weekend.
____________________________________________
Anyway, thought I would share this heartfelt story from a very amazing person, and also share the fact that this project, which served so many women in remote areas of the Middle East, is ending with "unsolicited" Trespassing CDs in the last boxes - and those CDs came from wonderful people like all of you. Much love to all.

I have a great story about Trespassing that starts out with cleaning the house. I am going to ask the person who told it to me if it's ok to share. It is quite a powerful story. Tease. ;D It will be worth the wait :-)
