Denmark is my family's homeland on my mother's side. I have never been there, but I have always viewed it as a beautiful, liberal country. Interesting that Oliver gives us a different side of this when it comes to treatment of gays. And that Law of Jante is pretty scary. I hope he has a good time with his family and friends. My guess is that he will dress a bit to provoke a reaction. We'll soon find out. Adam join him after the Voice stint is over, I assume. I‘m regularly in Denmark and my cousin even moved there (from Germany) about 20 years ago. It’s a nice country with mostly happy and liberal people. But it’s also a very small country and therefore very protective of its history and way of life. Some years ago I also thought about moving there, but as a German (or also other countryman), who wants to immigrate, you will see that some Danes are suddenly not that friendly anymore and some I would call openly racists. I know, you can find some of them in every country, but since Denmark is so protective of its heritage (for instance, if you moved there, until recently, you had to take on a typical Danish surname!), I found them there more noticeable than in most other countries I‘ve visited. Denmark is a rather small though (only -5mio population) and most people are really friendly and open-minded. But in this small world I‘ve never so far seen someone dressed like Oliver. And we all know, how some people react, when they see/meet someone, who doesn’t fit into their view of the world.

Re this post from yesterday’s thread: x.com/weholove/status/1767013263529963710?s=46&t=FRhvVbs9OZwKJqMgTXKbcwI was wondering, where the picture is from. I thought it was on The Wild‘s Instagram account. But it’s not. Or no longer? I also looked at Adam‘s and Oliver‘s IG,, nothing. Then I looked at the other posts of The Wild. There is no picture of Adam anywhere? You can find the other owners, Roger, Sarina and the other co-owner (I don’t know the name). But not Adam. I‘m sure there had been this picture of the group and also some pictures with Oliver from different weeks. Or not? Then I looked at the follows and was really surprised to see, that Adam doesn’t follow The Wild anymore and vice versa. What happened? I haven’t heard anything. But it’s weird that there’s no connection at all between Adam and The Wild on social media. Only Oliver seems to still be very much involved, because he’s apparently still hosting Friday night‘s Venom, at least when he’s in the city. Roger’s wife Sarina is still very active in reposting The Wild‘s posts and stories. Does anyone here know more?

stampsgal Oliver had been to Taylor Swift’s concert last year in LA without Adam. Oliver wore Adam’s „Queen Will Rock“ T-shirt. It was the day after JustJared had published the paparazzi photos of him and Adam and they had gotten a lot of negative comments. Now that Oliver for the second time attended a Swift concert without Adam, it’s probably safe to say, that Adam isn’t a fan of her music. 🫣😂

Interesting about The Voice filming schedule. If it doesn't start up again until May/June, I wonder if he'll have new music to promote by then? Do we have any official information about this year‘s filming schedule or when the show will air? Because last year the finale had been in October, but the year before in May and before that in August. Most of the times it was in June/July. So it’s very hard to predict, when Adam has to be back for filming.

So the big news is that Adam is a coach on The Voice Australia! 🥳
Filming starts in less than 2 weeks, on Feb 18th, so Adam will travel from Japan directly to Sydney.

I hope this is mainly about new music, as Adam suggested. Of course it’s great that Adam gets all these TV opportunities all over the world. But I can watch neither US, nor UK or Australian TV, so all that doesn’t give me much. I know there are always fantastic and helpful Glamberts, who try to share it all. But it’s not always really watchable and the „Only Adam‘s Parts“ videos are without substance and so pretty much useless to me. So long story short: I hope for new music! 😁 And later hopefully new concerts. Meanwhile I follow the QAL tour and Adam and his close friends on social media.

Oh boy, I love Adam's IG post I like it. But it’s too vague for me to love it. I‘m also wondering, why he posts this now, while he hasn’t posted anything l from the concerts in Japan? (Oh well, maybe that will come later)

I overthink things, too. For a while, I have wondered if there was some type of tension (not the best word but drawing a blank) with Queen and Adam, or perhaps more specifically, Brian and Adam. I can’t put my finger on any one thing, but to say that as someone who, until recently, probably focused more on QAL than on Adam solo, at times, it felt like something was a bit strained or slightly “off” or maybe missing at times, not just with performances but in the lack of off-stage interactions that we have been accustomed to seeing. I noticed that in North America 2023, too. I know that it is doubtful this collaboration can go on too long except for some one-offs, I would be sad if any of that family feeling they always said they had lessened. I still find it strange that they came over just for Japan. If anything, it would seem that Australia would also be a “one more time” tour as well. I don’t know if Adam’s Australia engagements could be problematic with tour dates, but it seems like some accommodations could be made. As I said earlier, I overthink, so possibly I just need to get out more and skip some videos! Like you I‘ve been thinking about Adam’s relationship with Brian and Roger at times. In their earlier years it seemed that Brian and Adam were a lot closer. But after looking closely, it hasn’t changed that much. On stage their interaction is still the same and Brian does still speak highly and very respectful of Adam in interviews. What we haven’t seen for a long while are more private interactions backstage. But I think there are several reasons for that. When you look at both Adam and Brian as individuals they don’t really have much in common. Brian especially seems to live in his own world at times, always busy with all his projects in the universe and for animals, but he also tends to take his time for himself to overthink things and at times struggling with his mental health. Brian is an absolute perfectionist and stubborn as a rock. So Brian needs his space, which is especially noticeable, when you realize, that the QAL band isn’t always staying in the same hotel. Especially Brian sometimes enjoys a different hotel. but Adam has done it as well. Then there is Roger, who’s like a brother to Brian. But a brother with completely different interests (apart from Queen of course). They are often like polar opposites and don’t really spend time together, if it isn’t for Queen. You don’t see much interaction between Brian and Roger backstage either. BUT Adam and Roger have developed a tight friendship. They’ve been on holidays together at least three times and now they’re even business partners with their bar. So my conclusion has been this: The relationship between these three men is fine. But it has changed through the years, while they got to know each other better and better and their personalities have evolved too. Adam and Roger (even more) love to enjoy life, while Brian often struggles with it. He was also very cautious with covid and his health during the 2022 tour, while Adam and Roger had fiends and family come in and out of their bubble. Maybe that also bothered Brian, who knows. But they‘re all „brothers in music“ and friends with a huge respect for each other. And I guess they know their weaknesses and that’s why they don’t dare to go into a studio and record new music together. Queen very often fought hard in the studio. They were four dickheads and Brian and Roger fought the hardest. Without their former peace maker Freddie, who resolved many fights within the band, it could become more difficult to find common ground. It would also be a weird situation for Adam to either sit between them or being the third stubborn dickhead. The result could be brilliant. Or it could be the end of the collaboration. At least that’s how I see it and I might be wrong, since we only get glimpses of what happens between them.
