Late to the party, but YEAH WE DID IT! So much excitement this week, just loving the song, although it took me a couple of listens at the beginning. Even got DH giving it some clicks on Youtube!
Atop is just THE coolest Adam community! Congratulations to Adam, and to us!

Checking in after Ghost Town Day! Still haven't quite made it through yesterday's thread!
I'm down 1.4 lbs this week, so yeah for me! I think I'm finally getting into the right mindset again, but it's a continuous struggle lately it seems. I just have to try and keep away from buying any goodies, because I have it in the house, I can't seem to stop myself from eating it, with chocolate being the main culprit. Work is getting busier so will be more active there so that's good too (and good for the AFL fund!), although that will curtail my walking, so am getting some exercise equipment.
Hope you all have a losing week!

FINALLY home after trying to keep up all day on my iPhone !!!!! So happy to be home to join in the excitement with everyone. I'm in an eastern time zone - so midnight it is for me. Conversation with my husband who has to get up very early tomorrow ME:You may want to sleep in the spare room tonight - Adams single drops at midnight and I will be up and online. HIM: Don't you have an early meeting in the morning. ME: gave a look - no comment. HIM: Can't you just listen to the song when you get up in the morning. ME: I think you'll be happiest in the spare room - take the dog with you. Love your story csimms4! So cool that so many people around the world, most of whom we don't know, are all going to be doing the same thing at midnight ET. Such a great community that is supporting Adam! Can't wait, is it time yet?!

Completely forgot to check in last week as we were getting new carpet in half of the house, so the other half was full of furniture and stuff. So I was a little distracted and have not been doing well, as I'm up again. Ugh! One of these days I'll have that break through moment that allowed me to lose all the weight last year, so I'm just going to keep working away at it. Wishing everyone better results than me this week!
And yes, down 2 sizes is GOOD Csimms4! Saw your photo of the new job, looks pretty AFL friendly! Hard to believe we'll be squeeeeeeing this time next week, FINALLY!

New puppies, new job! Exciting stuff! Congratulations you guys!
Missed check-in last week, which was probably good, 'cause I could feel that I'd put weight on after our weekend away. Weighed myself this morning and am still up .8 from my last weigh -in 2 weeks ago, but at least I'm heading down again instead of up. Have been doing my 1 hour walks every other day. We're getting ready to replace carpets in our guest area, so going to be busy emptying out all the bedrooms and then cleaning and putting them back together, so that'll be extra activity, which is always good!
See you next week!

Gabrielle, so sorry to hear about the loss of your beloved dog. It's tough, they're so much part of your family.
Down 1 lb. this week. Not great, but I'll take it. Every week we seem to have something going on that gets me off the plan. Dinner out, afternoon tea & cake, this weekend we're away visiting friends and going to a concert and dinner, so with all that, I'm ok with just the 1 lb. loss, but really do want to do better soon! Sending you all strength this week!

Glad to hear you're feeling better Jablea!
It's a struggle some weeks, isn't it! I only went down .2 lbs this week, but at least it wasn't up, and I did have a couple of pig-out days where I ate too much chocolate. Other than that I'm doing ok. Not as good as I should, but not bad either. Did get out for a walk 4 times, but it's raining this morning so hopefully it will clear up so i can go later. Sending you all positive vibes to stick to it!

Just a reminder on a slow, no-news (so far) day. Are you an Amazon junkie like I am? Or an iTunes junkie like Adam is? Then, help support ADAMTOPIA. Yes, there is a cost to keep this place running ad free with links and photos and gifs etc. Q3 never asks for help with it, tho' we would all be happy to contribute our share to preserve this wonderful meeting/info place. Well, you CAN contribute simply by using the links to Amazon and iTunes that appear on the bottom of every page of this forum. Don't ever type "amazon.com" in the address box of Chrome or Foxfire again. Don't ever click on the iTunes icon on you desktop. Go to ATop --- you are probably there already most of the day, right? --- and scroll to the bottom of the page. Click the link. Then, shop - and buy - as usual. It REALLY DOES HELP with forum costs. And it couldn't be easier. Buy something today! Now, back to your regularly scheduled program. Cassie, or Q3, do you know if this applied to the Canadian versions of Amazon and I-tunes as well?

Sorry to hear you're sick Jablea! That usually throws everything out the window as far as planning to eat right!
I see several of you are into bread, and that's one of my issues too. I LOVE bread, but am trying to cut back on it, so just having 1 slice in the morning and 1 at lunch, rather than 2 both times. I'm amazed that I lost 2.4 lbs. this week, considering there were 2 birthday cakes this weekend and they gave us leftovers to take home! And they were so good, so I did thoroughly enjoy it! So 2.4 is encouraging, so will try to keep going in that direction. Missed one walk last week, so just had 2 walks, but did go again this morning. The weather has been very springlike here, although when we go, we go just before 8 am, and it's been frosty then. I'm seriously looking at a piece of equipment that will allow me to walk when I can't go out because of weather, or when I get busier with my business and then my schedule won't allow me to go out.
Hope you're all hanging in there!

Totally missed check-in last week as I had the leave the house at 6:30 am for a super early medical appointment so I completely forgot about weighing in. Not that I lost any weight last week I'm sure, but I'm finally getting back to that mindset I had last year, and doing better with sticking to a plan most days. So I am down 1.6 lbs. since 2 weeks ago, so hope to keep it going! It's been gorgeous spring like weather here, so got in 4 1/2 walks this past week, and doing a few stretches as well, so the exercise part has been good. Nocturnal, very sorry to hear about your situation, so sending you a big hug! Sounds like you have a great attitude which can only help. It's a struggle isn't it, but it sure helps to have everyone's support here. Thank you!
