I remember Brian saying it took so many different singers to sing what Freddie sang and that Adam could sing them all... Proof in point. Adam could have done the entire ABC show by himself. I mean he does it every night when performing with Queen

Three reactions: All the artists did a nice job with their songs. Nothing cringeworthy to be heard. (I thought Darren Criss's was the weakest.) That was the most phenomenal version of TSMGO that I have heard from Adam. I need a recording of it. NOW! Now that I have heard the rest, I need to go back and listen to/watch Adam perform all those songs. I totally agree!!! That shows you what a phenomenal vocalist Adam is. He blows them all out of the water and night after night LIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!

Adam Lambert Talks Returning to American Idol Stage 12 Years Later
Adam Lambert returns to his reality singing competition roots—but this time as a judge for E!'s new series Clash of the Cover Bands, premiering Wednesday, Oct. 13. The Queen frontman joins fellow superstars Meghan Trainor and Ester Dean to mentor cover band contestants seeking $25,000 and the opportunity to appear in-studio for a musical performance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
Artists covered this season include Aretha Franklin, Blink-182, Bon Jovi, Britney Spears, Carrie Underwood, Céline Dion, Coldplay, Dolly Parton, Elton John, Lady Gaga and U2.
"I'm kind of partial to the divas," Lambert exclusively told E! News. "I think that's sort of my soft spot. We had a Britney, a J.Lo, we had a Céline [Dion], we had Tina [Turner], we had Dolly [Parton]. These are iconic women."
The self-proclaimed "music nerd" called the experience of filming Clash "crazy"—and not just because of the competitors' doppelgänger performances.
"It was so crazy because we filmed this show on the same exact stage and studio as American Idol," Lambert explained. "So walking backstage into the studio every day was just so surreal. That was what, 12 years ago? That's where everything started for me."
Lambert continued, "That was very cool. I enjoyed that full circle. And it made me keep in mind that when you get up on stage and you perform and you give it your all and you're putting yourself out there to be commented on by three people at a desk in front of you, it's not always the easiest thing."

Back when Adam performed the private gig in Florida, someone questioned why he had one leg of his pants cut off during his sound check and wondering if his leg was injured. Haven't seen any more about it. I think it's his shoes that made him walk funny. They don't seem to bend at all!

Haha, Girldrummer, I was just saying yesterday that sarcasm doesn't translate well online. I have to remember to add an emoji or something because I tend to be a sarcastic person in general lol.

Very interesting comments from Kara!. So much goes on behind the scenes on these shows that we don't realize. I wonder what Adam was doing with his eye that she told him not to do? LOL Kara loved Adam from the start. She saw him as a big star even then. He's so lucky that she pushed for him to get on the show. Idol was never the same after Season 8. I dunno, that just doesn't sound right. I remember reading an article at the beginning of Season 9 where Patrick Lynne (one of the Idol producers who headed up the auditions) was interviewed at the Cow Palace in San Francisco, where Adam auditioned the year before. He made a point of saying they were looking out for him in the later rounds because he was so good. And since when did Idol have any issues whatsoever with Simon "destroying" any of the contestants? Seems to me the show loved that when it happened. I'm not saying she wasn't supportive, but at least in the televised audition, Randy and Paula were more immediately on board with Adam than Kara was. I haven't listened to the interview, so maybe she said something that clarified it, but it sounds like a bit of revisionist history to me. Agreed!

I got my 1st Moderna shot today. I feel like I did getting a flu shot; a little sore on the arm and a little tired but not really anything a little Tylenol can't fix. I also had my first cataract surgery today and am in a walking boot from foot surgery 2 weeks ago, so I guess any shot discomfort is relative but I would have crawled to get that shot. I feel like I've been playing Russian Roulette for months since going back to work in June. I work at a hospital in Madison so I was vaccinated in early January even though I work from home. I got the Pfizer and had no side affects! I'm relieved to have had it and feel protected now! Still wear a mask and social distance regularly. Not pushing my luck!

Q3 asked if we would listen to a new song and buy it. YES to both. Whatever Adam sings -- I will be there with my ears and wallet open. LOL Haha, pretty much me too. I've even bought some of those remixes, and I HATE remixes. I've bought everything there is and will continue if Adam has anything to do with it! PERIOD!
