Thank you, SophieB for your lovely long response! So, you randomly caught a glimpse of Adam on a night when you were too sick to go to bridge! Love it! If you hadn't been sick that night, I'm thinking you might have been like your local butcher! Now I'm wondering if all the rest of our UK peeps discovered Adam the same way you did! I also discovered Adam through Idol. I watched Idol from Season 2 but it was only Adam that caught my attention, although probably only from the live shows. I loved the way he made every song his own. I then lost track of Adam for a few months but then somehow heard of his radio station tour in the UK. I met him in a small station in Guildford in March 2010 and then went to the Heaven gig in April and the GNT UK concerts in Nov/Dec. I have been obsessed every since!

Having read SophieB and BristolGill’s eloquent comments about the NYE concert, here’s my brief, and probably less than eloquent, recap.
I would agree with everything they said. I was sat in the front of the left hand balcony, and the minute Adam started singing, virtually everybody was on their feet and remained so throughout the concert. He was so alive, so confident, so in control, which, to me, was all the more impressive given that he had to be constantly aware of timing and other TV cues. The atmosphere was awesome, and it was also great to see the audience so involved, with less people than normal videoing or taking photos. I was sat next to an Adam fan from Hungary, some Queen fans and a couple who liked both Adam and Queen.
It was a truly wonderful concert, which I felt honoured to be at. Sophie, it was also great seeing you again, albeit only briefly!

Could someone tell me specifically how to sign up on the Queen online website, pretty please? It is probably easy, but I am just not seeing it. There is a Store Account login, and a Community (fan club/forum) login. Do you need to sign up for separate things or is there a site wide login process that I am overlooking? The link is on the front page below the Queen Forever heading. However it seems to keep disappearing, maybe because of too much traffic? I managed to register 10 minutes ago but before that it had vanished.

I've just spent a chunk of my evening gifting as part of the Request Adam NCOE group. They give you the money and the email addresses and off you go. I really enjoyed myself, it's a bit like voting but with a more immediate payoff. Anyway that's my good deed for the day, I might even go back and do it again tomorrow! No point to this post, I just feel good about the whole fandoms generosity at this moment. I've just been doing the same. It was quite fun to do. He's stuck at 17 at the moment.

I don't post as often as I should but I just wanted to share my thoughts about the concert in Wroclaw yesterday. Wow! What a concert! Adam was playful, gorgeous, sexy as hell and was clearly having so much fun. I loved the red jacket and hope we see more of it in London. His singing was superb and he really seems to be connecting with the lyrics of the songs. The audience was so varied; I looked around during the encores and it was so moving seeing everyone standing and cheering. We met a youngish Queen fan at the airport on the way home and she was really impressed by Adam and says she is now a fan. The icing of the cake during the weekend was meeting up with the awesome catzmadam, butterfly and vecadam.
