I think I've seen the clip but no idea where to point you. However I felt it was the guy being enthusiastic (knowing what was coming) when Adam was saying - I know what some of you are thinking - the guy was going "He's no Freddie", not being mean, just knowing the next part of the spiel. However somehow last time it was posted it was also listed as heckling or something similiar, I just disagree that's what the guy was doing. And I'll join you in the dog interpreter career. I think I do pretty good most of the time. I cannot find it! It was after Killer Queen, when Adam says "I know what some of you are thinking." Before he could continue with his speech a guy shouted out "Who the fuck is Adam Lambert?" Which cracked Adam up and he repeated the question. Please, someone must know which concert, which video. It was the last Auckland concert in 2018. I was there. So funny!!! He handled it brilliantly!!! Here is my video. Starts at around 4 minutes in. I had some focusing issues for a bit,, but here it is! And he references him again at about 3.40 here during STL.

Obviously thrilled for today's announcement of NZ shows!!! It's my birthday today and to wake up to that news was a great present! 😁 I'm planning on going to Wellington and Auckland concerts. FYI Mt Smart stadium is where Queen (with Freddie) played their only NZ concert in April 1985. Famous for Freddie being drunk onstage! I didn't go back then but looking forward to being there next year! Just gotta get through ticket stress, deciding where and how much to spend etc. the usual.😜

“The Australia dates are expected to be part of a wider tour of the region taking in also several East Asia dates”
I so hope this includes New Zealand too. Doubt I’ll have the means to make it to Australia, close as it is. The same promoter brought them here last time and both countries were announced at the same time. Don’t know if that means anything. Hopeful here’s still hope for us!

My deepest condolences to our NZ friends ... tragedy all too familiar to us here in the US I think 3ku1 is from New Zealand. Prayers being sent for your country. Yes he is from NZ as am I. I lurk here every day! Our whole country is in shock and mourning. Naively we never imagined something like this could happen here. Thank you for your condolences.😘 I saw that statistically the 49 lives lost here is the equivalent to 3344 lives in the US. May help to explain the enormity of the loss. It is a very strange somber feeling here today. 😥

Outlaws of Love, Stay, Underneath. So many beautiful gems from Adam that so few have heard. His albums have been full of hits, IMO. There is no other voice quite like his. Every now and then Pick U Up pops into my head, too. It's one of my all-time faves. I do enjoy some others singers, I really do. But his voice outshines even the best singers that I know and love. He's just that good. So frustrating that he is still a secret to so many. Totally agree. But thrilled that through Queen, many of my non-Glambert friends have heard and seen for themselves how incredible is. But his his own music is wonderful, and sadly not necessarily heard by them. Always optimistic that new music will bring new hits and new fans. And radio play! My dream is for him to release a gorgeous ballad as a single, that really showcases his voice. It's worked for Adele, Sam Smith, Ed etc. And I believe it could work for Adam too.

I don't know where to ask this. (I checked the Performance and Recap archive, but that seemed to be mostly an annual overview of shows.) I didn't see a list or a poll concerning "best live performances of [song xyz]." I was wondering if any of y'all, who have been to or seen videos of many shows both solo and QAL over the years, could point me to what you consider his best live performances of any of his songs and/or Queen songs? Or any covers he's done (outside of Idol or pre-Idol stuff)? For Queen songs, the only one I have right now is that the Isle of Wight performance of WWTLF is a standout. I don't know which of the others is considered his definitive version of it (and I realize that he could deliver the "best" one at any time in the future, as well). I don't know where to look for his own songs. The only other "standout" performances I've become aware of in my catching up on his career are his beautiful cover of Rihanna's "Stay" in Seoul and his cover of "Girl Crush" with Leona Lewis. I feel like there's so much that I'm missing, and there are so many videos of so many shows, that I don't know where to look for best performance/best audio/best atmosphere/etc of a song. Is there a place or a way to talk about favorites like that? Sorry for being off-topic! Two of my favourite live solo performances that show off the softer, tender side to his voice that I just love sfm. Outlaws of Love from the Snowfest is just gorgeous - love the tender way he sings this - the ending is just divine, and it's nice hearing it with the piano accompaniment as a change to the guitar. Stay/Underneath from Kanazawa WAG tour.... other versions of this song are more widely shared, but the tenderness and emotional range he conveys in this performance is the best of them IMO

Just finished watching newly released Queen documentary on the making of News of the World album shown here tonight on NZ TV. The docu started and ended with Adam! Lots of red-haired Adam at the end, with footage from the NA tour and Bri berting. Lol. A great documentary with surprise bonus of Adam bookending the program! 😁
