Andrew Lloyd Webber was involved in the live TV production of Jesus Christ Superstar, so I guess he's had the chance to hear what Adam is capable of. I always hoped he would do something else with Adam after having had that experience, so when we first heard he's invited Adam to sing on Cinderella's soundtrack, I assumed that must be why. But Adam wasn't involved in the TV production of JCS. Why would Webber have had an opportunity to hear Adam in it? Or is my memory faulty? Adam is usually very tight-lipped about his projects, but he hinted at that project so strongly, I took for granted that he had the role of Judas and that it was a done deal. It seemed like something that fell through at the last minute. I always forget that it was never confirmed (and probably never will).

Adam sings Andrew Lloyd Webber..... FOR Andrew Lloyd Webber! That opens up all kinds of possibilities in my head. Webber, for those of you not into musical theater, is arguably the most successful and respected musical composer in the past 50 years. He is the composer of Jesus Christ Superstar, which Adam has always wanted to perform. If he wasn't familiar with Adam's work and abilities before, Adam has just given him a stellar demonstration. Webber could very well be blown away with Adam's voice and drama. Just imagine if, after hearing Adam kill this song, Webber was inspired to write something for Adam! Or pair up with him on some project. If Queen is the ultimate Rock music collaboration for Adam, Webber would be the equivalent in the musical theater world. And a little bit of trivia, Adam performed in a production of Webber's first successful Broadway musical, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolored Dreamcoat.

"But a hundred young mermaids stopped to stare And admire my legs and hair". Lol That little delay before he says "legs" and the way he says it suggest it isn't his legs that he thinks they admired...

iTunes tells me that Adam's song "The Vanquishing Of The Three-Headed Sea Witch" is 5:46 mins. long! The joint ones shorter - Man's Man is 1:28, and The Wedding Party is 3:12.
