I tried with 2 different browsers, but I can't get the Daily Show vid to play! Is it on YT? I Googled The Daily Show, and clicked the video link and it played right away.

I love Loaded Smile. It and Broken Open were 2 of my favorites. I was surprised coz I normally am not a big fan of ballads, but have found even though I don't care for angst female singers, I love angsty Adam! Can't forget CLYG!!! Yeah!! ITA !

Nice!! Can you tell us what song? Loaded Smile. It sounded beautiful in the theater! I LOVE Loaded Smile. I still maintain that if they had released other ballads, like this and Soaked, as singles - they would have done really well.

I find the whole Today Show piece outdated and offensive in itself. What could be offensive about a mother playing with her child (of any gender)? It would be socially acceptable if the mother was busy and the child was set in front of the TV eating junk food! There is nothing news worthy about the whole today show segment. It makes me angry that they considered "controversial" for a boy to paint his nails on a day a mother drove her car into a lake with her children in the car. This!! This!!!

I didn't know Anderson Cooper is gay!!(rumor, yes). When did he come out? I didn't think Anderson was officially out either....the same with Sheppard Smith. Dropping Adam from 5th to 43rd (or whatever) does seems a bit skewed considering what Adam has accomplished in the charity realm this year alone. : Perez at 20? He's powerful....but what has he contributed to...well.....anything?? Won't it be nice when no one has to be "out" or "in", and everyone can just be human and treated all the same !!!! :(

I don't know how much of this is true. This is a twit longer from my feed last night. tl.gd/9mp677On Wednesday 6th April 2011, @darynd said: OK! NEED TO VENT RE: ABC HYPOCRITES!!! Watched The View on my DVR last night from Monday. And there they proceeded to show at least a 30 second CLOSE UP clip of 2 women MAKING OUT at Charlie Sheen's Live show while they continued to chat away and NOT even care or mention it!! THEN Sherri proceeded to tell the audience how GREAT Chris Brown was on DWTS and that we should NOT want to boycott it! He is a GREAT performer and THAT'S what matters???!!!??? HELLO YOU BIG FAT HYPOCRITES!!!! Blur out Adam and Tommy 2 second kiss! Ban him from your station???!!!??? I was just sick sitting there with my jaw hanging open at such BULLSHIT!!! No worries though...Adam will be around a long time while Chris Brown, as they say on E! watches from his jail cell making out with his cellmate Bubba!!!! End of VENT! I wasn't paying attention to The View so I missed the part with Charlie Sheen. I did catch Sherrie gushing about what a great performer Chris Brown is and that's what matters. I wouldn't doubt the rest of the recap. I was pretty pissed about the Chris Brown snippet I saw. ITA! Joy did not agree with her - love Joy !!

LambritsUK EzineArticles: Adam Lambert - Down the Rabbit Hole Indeed: bit.ly/fC70qo (Review of Glamnation Live) " If you have never heard of Adam Lambert, call a crane-operator to lift that rock you've been living under and check out the American Idol phenom's 'Glam Nation Live' CD/DVD...Stat! This live performance set is a phenomenal combination of rock theater, pop grandeur and glam-bam-thank-Adam vocal art. Visually going from something like 'Blade Runner' to Elvis just seems like all in a day's work for Lambert, but the vocals have a very different lineage.
. His note-perfect, sky-high performances on AI a few years ago were brought to my attention and after seeing them on YouTube, I immediately became a fan" Article Source: EzineArticles.com/6132724
Very favorable article! Nice to read. I have only one complaint. Vocally, Adam does not match Mercury ---- he surpasses him! I know that is sacrilege to write, but it is, nonetheless, true. Adam's technique, control, tone, resonance, power and versatility are all better than his royal highness, Freddie Mercury. I acknowledge that some people may LIKE Mercury's type of voice more than Adam's. That is a matter of personal preference. But, on objective criteria, from a singer's viewpoint, Adam takes it, hands down.
Absolutely Cassie !!

cassie, you are so right about the quality of his voice without any enhancement. I saw this audition, and although I fell in love with his voice, I was amazed at how "underwhelmed" (ermm, is that a word?) the judges were. Why weren't they all yelling, "Wow, that was amazing! You can REALLY sing!!". The reactions are very bland compared to other contestants they liked. Did they maybe think he was a "one trick pony" (a common critique)? That he couldn't be commercially successful in the current market? I just don't know. Has always puzzled me, because he is probably the best live singer AI has ever produced. When I watched this I remembered that Simon said Adam was "theatrical" and therefore "not current". What does think about Gaga now !!!!
