Jablea and stampsgal glad you enjoyed the video. Glad he was able to appreciate the 'total package' of Adam...his amazing musical talent and his genuine and thoughtful personality. He had also written about Adam 7 years ago. www.poffysmoviemania.com/adam-lambert-fury-and-the-passion/ I read it at that time and recognized the similarities when I saw the video.

Didn't Adam sing an opera aria at a private party? Or at least a portion of one. It was lovely and he handle it with great skill. I'd love to hear him sing a full-out aria that showed even more people how magnificent his voice is. Would love to hear from his HS opera voice teacher. My guess is that Adam was one of the "better" students. Nessum Dorma was the aria Adam sang.. He did a wonderful job on this most gorgeous piece. youtu.be/YHTmmc9aMqkI have a story related to this. Last week I attended a virtual ice breaker meeting for work where I was asked what my guilty pleasure was. I said I am a groupie of the band Queen because of its lead singer. Several people said "Adam Lambert" but one person typed in the chat "Adam Lambert? The GOAT. Did you hear him sing 'Believe'? He made Cher cry!" I responded, "I listen to it every day." I work in a huge company and never met an Adam fan so I had to IM him privately. He is an intern who sings in the a cappella group at a major university. He has had classical training in his youth. He has been blown away by Adam since American Idol, has watched several of his videos, with and without Queen, but isn't a stan like I am. He is a huge fan of Queen and Freddie but thinks Adam's vocal talent definitely surpasses Freddie's. When I told him about all of Adam's haters because he's with Queen, he said that it's possible to simultaneously appreciate Freddie's awesomeness and acknowledge that Adam has more refined vocal technique and ability with mind-numbingly beautiful sound. I first sent him Brigadoon, after which he said that that was the kind of training he had, and "good lord, he's talented" and "so unfair that his his voice and mix were so amazing at this age". Since he speaks Italian, I sent him Nessum Dorma next. He said his range was insane and it sounded gorgeous. I asked how his Italian was, and he said "wonderful". Sadly, his internship is ending this week, but we'll definitely keep in touch so we can flail about Adam. I told him we were just getting started.

Does anyone know why Todrick Hall is no longer being mentioned? I noticed he wasn't in the LP liner under featured vocalists on one of the earlier posts. I can't find his version of Only You on YouTube either.

Oh, I'd forgotten about that guy's interview with Adam...there were soooo many of them right after Idol. Man, that guy was squirmy...either he was high and twitchy, or just nervous about interviewing Adam...not sure which. That squirmy reminds me of that HILARIOUS interview with the guy that couldn't get over how handsome Adam was. Can't remember his name, but I think I have it in my files somewhere...he was so funny...absolutely overwhelmed by Adam lol. I think that's how I would be if I ever got to meet him lol. Was it this one? www.youtube.com/watch?v=9tgI5EBxi5I

Next time you see a comment that George Michael would have been so much better than Adam as Queen's front man, give them this link. "I remember hearing the rumors, but it wouldn't have suited us," the drummer recently told Classic Rock. "George wasn't really used to working with a live band. When he heard the power he had behind him in rehearsal, he couldn’t believe it. He thought he was on Concorde or something." ultimateclassicrock.com/queen-roger-taylor-george-michael/
