If Jordin Sparks is safe with RCA and working on her 3rd album after her 2nd sold only 177,000 copies in the US (the rest of over half a million total came from int'l sales), then I wouldn't worry about Adam too much. And in comparison, Daughtry's last album sold 469,000 copies since its Nov. 2011 release, and I highly doubt he's in any danger of being dropped. TSP is in its 5th month, estimated 269,000 copies sold worldwide, a new single just out already making splashes albeit not in the US, yet, and a world tour next year, maybe more domestic promo that we are not aware of.... And, as bullsfan pointed out this is the NUMBERS thread... just a quick drive by to say I really appreciate posts that are informative and contain actual numbers like yours often do thanks, seriously

Thanks for the info! I want to help Adam, not enable radio. Yeah Atlanta..6 requests? : Well actually -- I was told requests from 6 people. Since WSTR has not be pushed as a place to request and has not played the song, it makes sense to me. I honestly think that most Adam fans are not aware that the single is out there. And there are a lot of stations in the US for the people who follow Adam and request. I wonder if that number only counted live phone call requests? vivlite, IMO the easiest way to tell if a radio station clicky thing is just for hits or may be testing and/or result in spins is if it is a contest to vote on Trespassing the song or Adam the artist. If it's the first it's worth doing. If it's the second, it's often clickbait unless it's on a major media site (like Billboard) where they might publicize winners at least online.

What a cute picture and story: t.co/yuHn0MAWOk so here's the story. Adam was saying some explicit things LOL and said "oh don't worry there's no kids here!" Then my mom said "yea there is, right here this 12 year old is your biggest fan!" I was the only kid bur who cares. Then he said something about using the f word too much I forgot. Then I brought up the f word interview from the MC on demand thing and we had a real conversation! I can't even tell you guys. Adam, no words can even explain what I wanna tell you right now. "I know you won't understand but I gotta tell you somehow!" (See what I did there?) 😊 @adamlambert aw I was standing near this mom and daughter at the show, they were so cute and enthusiastic and Adam did chat with her during the show and make sure she wasn't drinking anything ;D I saw one or two other tweenish kids there as well. On the flashing, Adam had just spent a long time bantering before Naked Love and asking people to take off their shirts and get nekkid several times and got a few takers from the guys in the audience and it was a super fun and laid back atmosphere, so not that out of place. What a great show!

Sorry to the premature flailers but, in case there are South African lurkers who might be discouraged if they haven't bought one yet, looks like there are tickets available, at both venues : online.computicket.com/web/event/adam_lambert/674416168/Click on the specific show then launch detailed floor map, I plugged in a search for a handful of tickets at a time in a couple of areas just to double check. Also it's possible the whole venue seating may not be opened up for every concert, so it's hard to tell how many seats will be available overall.

Imo because it improves a song that was awesome but somewhat sonically repetitive and makes it even more adam-my? the new funky ending kicks ass over the original, the pacing is better, the new harmonies and extended panting is crazy in a good way and very in character to me. I also like the first radio edit, but this was an unexpected thrill for me. RABBITRABBIT! Hey girl! Nice to see you posting! And ITA! This doesn't seem like an edit that smooths out the edginess of the song to me at all! I think it funks it up, it makes it a little more risque with the added panting and the prominent gritty back-up vocal, and it makes the base more evident. Seems all good to me. Who knows who did it, but it doesn't sound, say, Dr. Luke-y to me at all. I love the album version but definitely think the song needed shortening for radio. The Dallas edit left me feeling a little bit disappointed--I enjoyed it but it felt more chopped than edited. For me, too, this was an unexpected thrill! ETA: several people have mentioned the "gongs" but they were in the old edit, too, weren't they? they were just drowning out the base, rather than backing up the pants? (lol backing up the pants ;D) Hi there lol back up dem pants! yeah I think the gong was there just less noticeable/distinct, but I'm not sure.

Okay, i was really nervous about this radio edit. I love trespassing but didn't quite love the first edit we heard. It was fine but seemed kind of arbitrary and unnecessary to me. But this one I get! It definitely changes up the song but in a good, fresh way, I think. I like the ending! Yay! I truly hope radio will play the heck out of it! But why take a song that is 100% Adam and unique and change it up to make it radio friendly? Didn't they already try this with NCOE?! IDGI! I get the Dallas edit version because it shortened the song, but kept the basic song intact. I get making it shorter. But changing it? Why? Imo because it improves a song that was awesome but somewhat sonically repetitive and makes it even more adam-my? the new funky ending kicks ass over the original, the pacing is better, the new harmonies and extended panting is crazy in a good way and very in character to me. I also like the first radio edit, but this was an unexpected thrill for me.

THis is my radio station, 24/7. AND I never heard it during the day.. as well as another fan who I go to the concerts w. She listens 24/7 because we text each other when we hear it, etc...as well as complain when NCOE didn't make the countdown...lol! Q102 played it at the noon hour. They played it at drive home time. They played it at 8:00 and of course they played it during countdowns. It got as high as #26 on their playlist for a short time and stayed in the 30s for a long time. Just seconding what mys*&@^#r says based on tracking the spins. Ears listening '24/7' are fallible, but mediabase and the people in fandom monitoring spins online as a group can sometimes be more accurate.

That was the midweek chart I wonder of preorders all being charged in the first few days are part of that higher initial midweek? Hopefully fans who bought multiples and cleaned out the stores in the first few days paid with cash (not the same credit card) in separate transactions so it counted for these charts. The initial sell out in stores might have been part of this earlier estimate too, and then it took some time to restock. Great placement though IMO given his name recognition and how well FYE did.
