I hope we find it or them in Adam's new album, TOH.
Remember that news story about Brian paying $10,000 for a seat for the Red Special back in November when he came to the states? Funny thing is that he didn't use it at the Classic Rock Awards when he jammed at the end. I wonder why he would have bothered bringing it with him...just saying. Totally just my wheels turning... This Bri interview video, "Maybe we did it already, and you don't know about it!" I tweeted abt it. :D www.youtube.com/watch?v=OWHrygSIz8s&feature=youtu.beAdam talk starts around 3.00, but the last sentence seals the deal

I'm thinking it could have been playing the second night in a huge sold-out arena and having been so well-received the first night that put him so at ease and free. Me, too! Reminds me of how silly and dancey he was at Mohegan Sun #1, the night after getting the pressure of MSG out of the way! Although, I am having a hard time finding were, on O2 #1, Adam wasn't loose, dancey, and fun! I thought he was on fire both nights! Maybe the Glamberts were tense the first night and not Adam, just sayin! #projection Yes, Adam was great on both nights, but def looser from the get go on Sunday. I think that is linked to the energy exchange with the audience. First night, the people around me did not get up until CLTCL, and on Sun ppl started dancing & shouting & fist pumping from the very first note onwards. Personally, I never worry about Adam, but there was a difference in the energy. Luckily he's such a pro, that it does not usually affect his singing. Another tidbit; Bohemian Rhapsody felt like a national anthem, ppl standing up, putting their hands on their chest and singing their hearts out. Then, God Save the Queen at the end, feels like an epilogue. Last chapter of the book you do not really want to put down, with Bri lingering on the stage for another second, hardly believing he's here seeing the crowd going berserk just like a lifetime ago, and Bri conveying his goodbyes of the night by lifting his Red Special in the air... <3

The vocal solo & audience participation bit is back. Previously I have sometimes thought that it's way too long (judging from videos of NA tour) and Adam still needs to do some work on that. Now, dont' get me wrong, he's always brilliant and I enjoy his "vocal masturbation" immensly, but being the calibre of a Singer he is, it's sometimes hard/impossible for the audience to follow through.
Having said that, and being in the audience, it was great fun, especially the competition part. It did not go on too long and audience was into it, really singing. I do not know how it comes through in the videos, (did not watch yet, thanks) but no complaints from me. It was a lot of fun, goofy bit of interaction.
P.S. If anyone's ever wondered abt my name, PostFestum, it's a glorified way too reference to a hangover. Post festum in latin means "after the party". I'm not much of a drinker, these days, but I'm kind of feeling a bit hung over now that all of this excitement and fun is said and done. When I have a clear head, I might be able to remember something else. But as very often here, it takes momtomany, aleks, juniemoon, nikki, etc. to put down in words eactly what I'm feeling. So I just find those recaps and add my smiley ditto! to their posts. Now back to real life for some hours. BBL.

Whew! A couple of days went by in nanoseconds. what an emotional rollercoaster. Very cathartic. Everything that I could've hoped for and beyond.
First of all, it was fantastic to meet all the lovely atoppers & their friends and partners in crime, my soulmates and sisters in spirit. It's just lovely, when people can connect like this and speak the same "language", and I'm not talking about the english language. Q3, Bama, Katycake, Lelemaple, Dancy, Bristolgill & gorgeous daughter, Justgill, Momtomany, our own celebrity! ..... I can't even remember everyone. And SophieB, my girl. Hope I did not scare you when I "bearhugged" you in front of the All Bar One. Your sister must've thought who's this crazy person! Hahahaaa!!! It was wonderful to see you again, bb! Bittersweet, as I only had this limited timeframe to spare and I Want It ALL!
The magical @magi_cal, our lovely streamer of the first two shows, was staying at my hotel. I had met her previously in Helsinki. Was lovely to spend more time with her, and she joined us on our Sunday dinner.
I haven't had the time to read here, Twitter, watch any videos, so I have some major catching up to do... It will be lovely to relive it all over again via videos and photos. The two shows were both great, but very different, and a vast improvement of the first two, Newcastle & Glasgow. (And especially Glasgow was still a great show.)
The Saturday at the O2 was very emotional for me. When Brian came down the the runway tears just started flowing.... He was crying too, during his set. I had thought that I was on clear waters, but the same thing happened again during his guitar solo. Go figure. Looking back, for me it was possibly because this was (probably) the last time I could see Queen live. I've been a fan since 1975, so it's kind of a major deal for me. Adam was great, but after comparing the two nights it seemed that he was "working hard" both vocally and performance-wise. Maybe because of the first night jitters in amidst of hardcore Queen fans, the filming, new setlist, you tell me. But I was mesmerized and stood up the whole time. Despite some distractions... After the show my feeling was that this was the best QAL show up to now, and that it would be impossible to top.
On Sunday, you could immediately feel the shift in the atmosphere, in both audience and on stage. Adam was this goofy, grindy, dirty, hilarious, nasty, campy vocal tornado. Everybody having fun on stage, relaxed and drawing the audience in from the very start. Funnily enough, Bri's bit was great, but I did not feel the same connection as the night before. I also noticed, that during his guitar solo, there were at least two times, where the audience thouhgt he'd finish his solo.... which he didn't. On the other hand, the drum battle should've lasted longer, but maybe a longer set would be too straining for Rog, bearing in mind "I'm too old for this shit" -remark. Albeit half joking.
Adam did an amazing job as a frontman and vocals were glorious throughout. So whatever was holding him back the night before, it was gone. Maybe the reviews coming in from the Telegraph & such, were a relief for him. LOTG_r best I've heard him sing it, ever. STL, SM, WWTLF, etc. brilliant. And the crowd was eating from his hand. Plus he looks really great in tartan
So, I just LOOOOOVED IT! Thanks to everyone making each of my days special and worth while. Looking forward to meeting everyone, sometime again, somewhere.

Hello, Lovelies! Long time no see. Dropped in to let you guys know that I will be coming to London O2 for both shows. YAY! For the 17th I have Block 102, Row C and for 18th Block 111 / Row E. Put this same info in the QAL O2 meetup thread, but as there's not much happening, decided to bring it over here as well. Will be staying at St. Giles, most likely. I have a twin room booked for Jan 16-19, but as my original companion can not make it, I could offer a half a room (GBP 330/2) and a GA ticket (GBP 92, my cost) for the 17th to somebody at Atop. If anyone's interested, please let me know either by DM here or on Twitter. I'm on Twitter almost daily, and I promise to check in here as well. Can not wait! And meet everybody. :D Have a wonderful TG, and talk to you later! Marra
