Um, this is not so good guys. Just letting you know so that you prep for tomorrow's review possibly:
Neil McCormick @neil_mccormick Daily Telegraph music critic. Occasional Author. Eco worrier. Bad son. Good dad.
Neil McCormick @neil_mccormick I'm watching an American Idol singer mincing about with a couple of old Queens. What the hell happened to rock and roll? Expand Reply Retweet Favorite

Talon.... did BM ever release just guitar record/album at all? JUST guitar? No. He always based his guitar around the voice. His 3 big releases were: Star Fleet - a 3 track EP with a 12 minute blues instrumental jam with Eddie Van Halen Back To The Light - which is probably the closest thing to a Queen album from their solo discs - this is the CD that includes Last Horizon as well as tBrian's version of Too Much Love Will Kill You (which some even like better than Freddie's) . Another World - No instrumental really here but still some good guitar work . If I had to pick one BM solo album, it would be Back To The Light. Some real beauties. BUT even better - during the BTTL time, pretty much every single he released, he put a 'Guitar version' of one of the songs on the B-Side where his guitar replaced his voice from the album version. AMAZING. In fact I used the Too Much Love Will Kill You one to make an extended remix with Freddie and Brian trading verses and adding some extra guitar moments. The three guitar songs were Too Much Love Will Kill You, Just One Life, and Nothin' But Blue. Thanks, talon... will check amazon and/or iTunes
