Sir Bob Geldof is a singer with the Boomtown Rats...but more importantly he is known for being the guy behind Live Aid in 1985. He created the concept and invited the bands, etc. Amazing amazing man. You can say that again! People may know him from "The Wall", where he played the main character Pink. |

that is very cool. Live Aid is the home of probably the most EPIC queen performance ever and the one they are most remembered for. |

Saw him in KC decades ago when Dire Straits first toured (Sultans of Swing, anyone? Money for Nothin'?) and that band was great! |
